Synthetic Heart _WARNING_ for achievement hunters!

DO NOT INSTALL synthetic heart augmentation if you are trying to get achievements for maxing out augmentations to level 4.

Once you install it, you CANNOT UPGRADE ANY AUG beyond level 3. As of today's version (Mar 20, 2022). Also verified via an older thread on reddit.

I have tried using numerous augmentation upgrade canisters, and also using the augmentation installation canisters (since I opted for the option on this playthough). You get a big fat NOPE.

Now I know, that gameplay isn't affected since the synthetic heart aug will bolster less-upgraded augmentations to level 4, effectively.

However, if you're doing a playthough with alternative augs than you usually use, for sake of achievements ... you're gonna have a bad time.

Note - I did the arm and leg augmentations before the synthetic heart, and was able to get to level 4 upgrades. Anything after is capped at level 3. AS per the image!

This is patched in Biomod & Shifter where they finally made it worth using by making it upgrade other augs beyond lvl 4.

In normal game however, Synthetic heart is the biggest newbie trap.
I remember using it on my first playthrough thinking it would be useful only for it to block me from upgrading any augs i hadn't maxed out.

Does Synthetic Heart somehow affect the augs that have already upgraded to level 4? Particularly in Biomod?
