Start Small, Dream Big!
Dictatorship 101
Finish all tutorials

storyline, easy

Claustrophilia
Win a Sandbox game on a Tiny island

sandbox, easy

Think small and set your victory conditions accordingly.

Mine! All Mine!
Mine 100 000 ores and coal in a single game

sandbox, easy

You'll unlock this naturally without even trying. All you really need is time and a few mines working to full capacity.

The Town Of Cityville
Build 150 buildings in a single game

sandbox, easy

The Madness Of Crowds
Have more than 500 citizens in a single game

sandbox, easy

Pick a large map and let loose your creativity! Hire foreign workers if you wish (with the help of sandbox money).
Build X and Y
These achievements are obtained mostly by building a certain amount of buildings. These achievements are all enabled in Sandbox mode even with unlimited money and other options enabled.

Agricultural Community
Have more than 20 Plantations, Hydroponic Farms, Factory Farms and Ranches in a single game

sandbox, easy

You don't actually need 20 of each structure. I personally got this after 20 factory farms and 20 ranches.

These next three are best done on a large map for obvious reasons (especially if you're doing it all on the same instance.

Infrastructor
Build more than 2 000 meters of roads in a single game

sandbox, easy

Think Tanks
Have 5 Army Bases in a single game

sandbox, easy

Tower Defense
Have 20 Guard Towers in a single game

sandbox, easy

The Great Mogul
Have 10 different industry buildings in a single game

sandbox, easy

All you need to know is that industry building are now categorized into two parts. You'll need both categories to get the 10 different industries.

Sheep For Wood
Have a fleet of 12 trade ships

sandbox, easy

I recommend the map Isla Rojo. It has a very long shoreline that has adequate space for 12 quick-build docks.

Foreign Relations
Globalist
Have 5 foreign powers in your Embassies at the same time

sandbox, easy

The achievement instantly unlocks as soon as you build 5 embassies and invite all foreign powers to each one. I recommend doing this with the For Science! achievement.

The China Card
Successfully complete 5 trade routes with China in a single game

sandbox, medium

I tagged this achievement as medium mainly because it may take more time than usual depending on problems you may encounter (due to the nature of newly released games in terms of bugs). Trade routes are completed by completing the export/import requirements set in various trade deals within a certain amount of time. You'll be required to import/export x amounts of product y in a few years time (usually more than enough time).

The easiest way to do this in sandbox mode (with unlimited money) is to build as many docks as possible while trying to space them out equally. Here's what can happen if it gets too crowded..

Next, build an embassy and start sucking up to China. Pick up China-only trade deals. When looking for trade deals, you want to find import deals on EXPENSIVE items. The main reason for this is because you need to import/export more units for commodities. When you deal in luxuries, that number significantly goes down. There will be no problems importing a ton of luxury goods because you have unlimited money. To illustrate this point, compare Image A and Image B below.

(Image A)

(Image B)

The achievement will unlock once 5 different routes are completed. I personally imported Electronics (twice), Cars, Jewelry, and some random commodity to get finish this up. I strongly suggest doing this in tandem with the achievement below.

Made In Tropico
Export 100 000 Luxury Goods

sandbox, easy

This achievement is trivial especially when combined with The China Card. You'll be importing luxury items such as Cars, Jewelry, and Electronics in large quantities and exporting them back somewhat automatically so the achievement essentially unlocks itself.

United States of Tropico
Finish a game with relations of 100 with the US

sandbox, medium
It Stays in the Family
Heir And Now
Recognize a new heir

sandbox, easy

Presidente's Seven
Have 7 Dynasty members

sandbox, medium

Every now and again a random event will provide you with an opportunity to expand your dynasty. During the Colonial Era, one of the events is to acknowledge an heir born out of wedlock (either immediately or after quickly organizing a wedding). In the Modern Era, one of the events is to marry a middle eastern dynasty member to add another member to your dynasty.

Mirror, Mirror On The Wall
Change the looks of a dynasty member

sandbox, easy

Go to your dynasty screen and simply change any minor detail on a dynasty member.

Overqualified
Have a dynasty member with a level 5 skill

sandbox, hard

You can level up skills on your dynasty screen. You'll need about 500k on your Swiss bank account to max out a skill.
Interesting Times
Everlasting Colony
Rule for 100 months as a colonial governor

sandbox, medium

Keep sucking up to the crown and extending your mandate whenever possible. This achievement isn't too hard but it will take some time. You can only extend your mandate a limited number of times so whenever you get the option to pick a longer mandate, do so.

Retro-futurism
Advance to the Modern Era before the year 1960

sandbox, medium

I suggest starting a sandbox game on Isla Rojo. Make sure it's set to the Cold War Era so you are as close to the Modern Era as possible. Build a basic functioning society (have food sources and other needs covered) then build a few Observatories on the high ground of the island. Queue up the research items right away and just keep playing. Once you get all the tiers of research (except the final one), you will get a prompt/event asking you to build a Space Program to advance to the Modern Era. Accept and complete it before 1960 and you'll have the achievement.

For Science!
Research all technologies at least once before the year 2005 in a single game

sandbox, medium

As soon as you start your sandbox game, queue up all researches. If you start on Modern Times, you'll only need to complete 9 research items. Next, build as many research facilities you want. I used Libraries and Observatories because they didn't need power.

Don't forget to tend to your citizen's needs because the immediate threats to blocking you from this achievement come in the form of a rebel attack and of course losing the elections.

I strongly recommend doing this at the same time as the Globalist achievement mainly because there is an edict you can activate which gives you a ton of research points depending on your strong ties with the foreign powers. This gives a great boost towards the achievement and it definitely helps complete it faster.

On a final note, don't requeue the final 3 research items. They are simply research items that can be repeated for various gains towards Swiss Account, Treasury, or the bonus of a free building. Once you've researched them all at least once, you'll have the achievement.
Friends with Dictators
These set of achievements are gained in multiplayer/co-op. The minimum you need to complete them all would be 2 players.

Good Sportsmanship
Finish a multiplayer game

multiplayer, easy

This is gained by default for winning via any conditions. See the next 3 achievements below for easy victories (and by nature - easy achievements).

Project Beale
Win a multiplayer game by points

multiplayer, easy

Winning by points simply require you to complete tasks in the game which are given right at the start. It mostly consists of trivial things (depending on the various difficulty settings) such as building three different entertainment buildings, building a newspaper, and etc. The win goes to the person who completes it first.

Architerissimo
Win a multiplayer game by construction

multiplayer, easy

The absolute fastest way to do this is to set the win condition to Construction>Space Program (modern times required), have unlimited money and build one power plant (it doesn't even have to function), and finally build a Space Program.

It Prints Money!
Win a multiplayer game by money

multiplayer, easy

Set the start money to 100k, set the win amount to 200k (modern times recommended). Assuming you are playing with a friend, both of you should use the Sovereign Debt edict to borrow about 40k cash. Then click on the diplomacy button at the bottom of the screen (handshake symbol) to borrow money form your friend. Repeat this process until you hit 200k.

Naughty Docks
Connect a dock with that of another player

multiplayer, easy

When it says connect docks, that means connect roads that are connected to docks. I did this in peaceful mode setting.

What Energy Crisis?
Produce and share 1 000 MW of power with another player

multiplayer, easy

While having unlimited money, have Player A build enough power plants (nuclear or otherwise) to have 1,000 MW of power. Then have Player B build a few energy-consuming buildings. Make sure to connect roads with each other and have substations that extend your power grid to each other's territory. Once one player gets it, demolish what you've built (minus the electric substations) and reverse the process. Recheck if the substations still cover the neccessary territory to link the power. With all of that covered, both players should be easily able to get the achievement.
The Story of El Presidente
These achievements are all story-related. They are tagged as varied difficulty mainly because your actions on previous islands can heavily impact the outcome of future story missions. In the interest of reducing spoilers, I'll just post basic details and put some details under the spoiler tag.

A New Dawn
Complete "A New Dawn"

storyline, varied difficulty

Nothing special here in the very first mission. Your main objective is to gain independence.
You should seriously consider planning out your island cause you will be forced to play the same islands for about 8 missions. If you aren't building properly, it may have dire consequences later on.

Day 0
Complete "Day 0"

storyline, varied difficulty

This mission requires you to export 20k units of Uranium. This will be mission #7.
Check which map has which deposists before continuing the story.[/spoiler]Save right before the mission starts (the screen where you pick maps).

Back to the Past
Complete "Back to the Past"

storyline, varied difficulty

Directly after mission 8, you'll be required to dedicate all research points to researching a time machine.
I recommend building Libraries or Observatories in the previous missions. You'll also want to have a working economy before then because this is the final mission for this set of islands.

Leon Must Die!
Complete "Leon Must Die!"

storyline, varied difficulty

The main objective in this mission is to attract 400 tourists to your island. I strongly suggest that you at least be in the Cold War period in order to take advantage of the tourism edict and the ability to unlock and Airport. Being in Modern Times is an even greater boon thanks to the Stadium+Aerodome.

Hope
Complete "Hope"

storyline, varied difficulty

You need to complete 5 main objectives to win the mission. These involve getting 900 population, 50 military personnel, exporting 20k rum, having 180 tourists simultaneously, and 3 TV stations. With this knowledge in mind, focus on meeting these conditions on the same island (or as much as you can) before entering the final mission. The only hard part about this is balancing your island's needs while trying to reach 900 (if you are unprepared).
Presidential Duties
Greasing Palms
Bribe a Faction Leader

sandbox, easy

This achievement is easily done by going to Politics>Factions then scrolling through any faction until you find someone tagged as a leader.

Bureaucrat
Issue 20 edicts in a single game

sandbox, easy

Self-explanatory. Edicts are divided into different eras (though they remain accessible throughout the entire game).

... But To Take Part
Issue the "Host the Olympics" edict

sandbox, easy

All you need is a stadium to host the olympics in.

Middle Manager Of The Revolution
Have managers in more than 15 buildings in a single game

sandbox, easy

The Census edict helps find more managers if you are in need of some.

Fundamental Principles
Amend the Constitution 6 times in a single game

sandbox, easy

Each amendment of the constitution takes about 5 years. Keep your citizens happy in the meantime because rebellion/losing the election serve as your biggest threat for this achievement.

Extraordinary Popular Delusions
Have all happiness values above 50

sandbox, medium

In Seventh Heaven
Reach overall happiness of 77

sandbox, medium

Friends With Benefits
Have relations higher than 90 with all factions in the Modern Era

sandbox, medium/hard

I strongly recommend doing this in Sandbox mode.

During the Modern Era, you'll have to balance and maximize your relations with each of the 8 factions. They are divided between 3 categories: Values (Religious, Militarist), Economy (Communist, Capitalist), Environment (Environmentalist, Indrustialist), and State Power (Nationalist, Globalist).

Here are some helpful actions that boost faction relations:
  • Militarists - Building Military Structures (duh)
  • Religious - Building Religious Structures (duh)
  • Communists - Building Homes, Subsidized Mortgage Edict, Inviting China into your Embassy
  • Capitalists - Building Banks, Customs Offices, Hosting the Olympics Edict
  • Environmentalist - Building Water Treatment Plants, Spamming Gardens (anywhere/everywhere)
  • Industrialists - Building Industrial Factories (such as the Rum Distillery)
  • Nationalist - Colleges, Hosting the Olympics Edict
  • Globalist - Building Embassies, Inviting Foreign Powers to those Embassies
Generally I advise you to satisfy everyone else before Environmentalists. They are the easiest to please by spamming Large Gardens. If you have more helpful advice, feel free to comment so I can add them to the list above.

Friends with benefits.. have +90 all factions in modern times.

You can finish in under 10 minutes if you do these things in order.

Sandbox - unlimited money - low -low etc.
Change plutocracy to free market.

DONT CHANGE ANY MORE CONSTITUTION.

Build a thermal plant.. quickbuild.. and wait for the workers to show up. (need this to build offices)
Build a police station.. quickbuild. (will need later to activate edicts)

with the game on pause build these things. Use quickbuild

Religious, militarists, capis, industrials and enviros where pretty easy but

I had huge troubles to satisfy the nationalists and the globalists at once and a bit trouble with communists (even with all their approved edicts and constitution paragraphs activated).
I recommennd to deal with all other factions before you go for nationalists and globalists.
I recommend only 2 embassys for globalists, invite China (for Commies) and EU ( not USA because commis will enormously dislike it).

For nationalists activate secret police and big brother edicts, they love it, no other faction disapproves, get space and nuclear program, they love it too (only religious and enviros disapprove but they are easy to bring in line again), then build a stadium and activate olympic games -> theres your achievement. I didnt noticed any positive effect in nationalist approval from building colleges.
The National Coffers
Booked Solid
Have Slob, Family, Cultural, Eco and Wealthy tourists at the same time on the island

sandbox, easy

As soon as you start the game, build a power plant, any research building, and queue up the Hot Water research. You will need this to attract rich tourists.

Once researched, make sure you have every type of tourist hotels for all the types (Slob, Culture, etc). Just don't forget to build the Spa Hotels to accomodate the rich tourists. Once they can be all be housed, build several stadiums and upgrade them so they attract ALL types of tourists. There's an edict that boosts your tourism rating that may also help if activated. Feel free to also build an airport to speed things up further.

Pension Plan
Earn over $$200 000 Swiss bank account

sandbox, easy

There's a ton of ways to earn Swiss money fast. One of them is to have building permit on and build a ton of Spa Hotels which will add a decent chunk to your account. Customs Office and Banks also provide Swiss money at a decent rate. Excess research points can also be converted to Swiss money once you reach the final research tiers.

A Barrel Of Monkeys
Earn $50 000 yearly revenue from Entertainment buildings

sandbox, easy

Cineplex, Casinos, and Stadiums are good candidates for generating entertainment money.
Existential Threats
Most of the achievements below are easily achievable by creating unrest. Start a sandbox game, build a lot of military buildings, mistreat your people, and wait. Martial Law and a few other restrictive edicts create unrest.

Let Them Eat Cake
Survive an uprising

sandbox, easy

I advise demolishing all housing and food-generating structures. Whenever a protest happens, send your army.

The Bay Of Pigs
Survive an invasion from the USA

sandbox, easy

A US Invasion can occur when your relationship with the country drops really low. Martial Law and a bunch of restrictive edicts can cause this. Constitutional amendments that go the opposite direction of 'freedom' will also drive it further on the negative side.

Once Penultimo tells you that foreign ships were spotted, just keep going with what you're doing and they will invade. Make sure you have a strong military since the invaders will bring a decent amount of tanks.

Putsch and Judy
Survive a Military Coup

sandbox, easy

A high amount of unrest can also lead to a coup. Sometimes rebels get into your army and that contributes to it even further. I suggest having Guard Towers on top of the regular Barracks and Army Bases since it definitely helps with surviving the Coup.

Cause of Death
Execute a Rebel Leader

sandbox, easy

Having a Police Station and issuing the Secret Police edict can uncover a Rebel Leader. You can also issue Big Brother (after issuing Secret Police) in order to identify 2/3 of hidden roles in your island. The Rebel Leader will have an icon on top of their head showing a lightning bolt enclosed within a fist.

History Will Absolve Me
Survive a rebel attack against the Palace

sandbox, varied difficulty

There is a known issue[forum.kalypsomedia.com] with the Palace acting as a target. This has been patched as of Update 1.02.

Tips from Commenters:
İlk olarak manu.16v tarafından gönderildi:
Just did it in a game with some rebells. I destroyed ALL buildings, they rebells may attack. Then i activated the edict to provoce a rebell attack. The rebells had to attack the palace, because no other building was left. then my guards and the aircraft carrier killed the rebells.

To Live In Interesting Times
Win a Sandbox game on an island with Relentless Disasters

sandbox, easy

Play sandbox and set the win condition to construction > Space Program. Start on Modern Times. Build a Power Plant then build a Space Program.
