Though the Federation Colony ship is only an average combatant amongst capitals, its Marine squadrons can hasten any planetary assault.

Abilities:

Colonize: Sends supplies and personnel down to the surface of the planet to create a new outpost.
Starfleet Marines: Sends Marines down to take down the defense forces of a planet.
Tactical Assault: The ships crew push the systems to critical levels to achieve superior combat results resulting in the ship gaining a tactical advantage over its rivals.
