Keep in mind that since it's suppose to be a stinger ripoff, to use this weapon simply aim it at ENEMY HELICOPTERS and AIRCRAFT. it won't lock to GROUND TARGETS and EMPTY VEHICLES

probably my first weapon made on the workshop, so what is this exactly? an attempt to ripoff the FIM-92 Stinger MANPADS by combining the default SMAW model with some accessories and shoving the javelin mechanics and modules inside it. and thus you have a pretty decent stinger ripoff! suprisingly effective againts enemy air targets and fast movers.

reload rate: 4
locking rate: 2 seconds

also has custom sounds! reload animation is basically the default SMAW reload.

The arms are broken but still works properly

Projectile should probably move a bit slower and deal less damage. Not very balanced to be able to one shot aircraft across the map. The missile flies so fast that AI pilots sometimes can’t react in time to use countermeasures.

really does fill the empty shoes of no decent manpads for the ground troops. The Javalin mod used to work on aircraft until the last official game update. This looks great and works great.
However, I have one suggestion. The missile travels at about the speed of light. It's traveling way too fast. It can cover the distance of the biggest of maps in about a second. The missile should be fast enough to shoot down most jet fighter mods but this is a bit overkill here. Sometimes my computer registers a kill before the missile has even exploded on the target (due to the speed). Love everything else about this mod, great work.

it works on the beta branch and it's great that somone finaly made a manpads mod. Thanks you. A bit OP IMO, It one shot pretymuch anything
