Family Mysteries 2: Echoes of Tomorrow has a total of 24 Steam achievements, of these 9 are story related and the remaining 15 achievements are missable, as for completion time, this is in the region of 4-5 hours.

MAIN GAME.

Difficulty
There are no achievements relating to difficulty in Family Mysteries 2: Echoes of Tomorrow so select whichever suits your mood.

Tutorial
While there is a tutorial, there are no achievements relating to playing with or without the tutorial.

Cutscenes
The "Riveting Master" achievement requires that you "Play through the first hour of the game without skipping any cutscenes".

Mini-Game Puzzles
There are 3 achievements relating to playing mini-game puzzles...
  • There is an achievement for completing 5 puzzles without skipping.
  • There is an achievement for completing all puzzles without skipping any of them.
  • There is an achievement for completing one puzzle in less than 60 seconds.

Hidden Object Scenes
There are 6 achievements relating to playing hidden object scenes...
  • There is an achievement for completing 1 scene without using hints.
  • There is an achievement for completing 3 scenes without using hints.
  • There is no achievement for completing all scenes without using a hint, once the "Scanner Eyes" achievement has popped, you are free to use hints in hidden object scenes if you wish to do so.
  • There is an achievement for completing 1 scene without a mistake (misclick).
  • There is an achievement for completing 1 scene in less than 60 seconds.
  • There is an achievement for locating 3 items in 3 seconds during a scene.
  • There is an achievement for completing 3 scenes in a combined total time of less than 10 minutes.

Collectables
There are two sets of collectables to find in Family Mysteries 2: Echoes of Tomorrow and 5 achievements earned for collecting them all. There are 28 Digital Articles and 14 Morphing Puzzle Pieces, with one Digital Article located in every location in the game and one Morphing Puzzle Piece located in every other location.
  • There is an achievement for finding your first Digital Article.
  • There is an achievement for finding 7 Digital Articles.
  • There is an achievement for finding all 28 Digital Articles.
  • There is an achievement for finding your first Morphing Puzzle Piece.
  • There is an achievement for finding all 14 Morphing Puzzle Pieces.

BONUS CHAPTER.
There are no specific achievements relating to the bonus chapter and nor are there any collectables. Sadly, I am unable to confirm if any of the achievements can be unlocked within the bonus chapter as I had unlocked 100% achievements during the main game.

Achievement Guide.
Note that Advance Engineering, Hacker Enthusiast, Mouse Whisperer, Hacker Master, Air Battle Hero, Sci-Fi Healer, Master Engineer, Stealth Master & Hacker Supreme achievements are all story related achievements earned as part of your natural progression.

The following achievements are listed in the order that I unlocked them...

Scrapbook Collector.
Find one digital article.
This achievement will pop after locating your first Digital Article. Please refer to the collectables chapter of this guide for the locations of all collectables. I have also added time indexes in my video walkthrough with the locations of all collectables.
Faster Than Time.
Find 3 Hidden Objects within 3 seconds.
To earn this achievement, during a scene, locate (by clicking on) three of the items listed at the bottom of the screen in three seconds.

I would strongly advise that you get this out of the way early on the first scene. The reason being, many of the scenes in Family Mysteries 2: Echoes of Tomorrow are not what I would call traditional scenes, in fact there are few that are. Overall, I would say there are 4, maybe 5 easy opportunities to earn this achievement.
All Seeing Mind.
Complete a Hidden Object Puzzle in less than a minute.
To earn this achievement you must complete one scene in less than 60 seconds. There are 18 opportunities to earn this achievement during the main game, of these there are at least 4 that can easily be completed reasonably quickly (Scene #6, #13, #16 & #18).

I am unsure if this can be earned in the bonus chapter, as such if you are in danger of missing this achievement, I have added time stamps for all scenes in my walkthrough should you want to prime yourself in advance.
Independent.
Complete a Hidden Object Puzzle without a Hint.
This achievement will pop after completing a scene without using a hint.
Unmistakable.
Complete a Hidden Object Puzzle without a mistake.
To earn this achievement you must complete one scene without making any mistakes. A mistake is clicking on anything in the scene that is not on the list at the bottom of the screen. This can be tricky as some items that you are required to locate are obscured by other items that must first be moved and there are also some items morph.

There are 18 opportunities to earn this achievement during the main game and I strongly advise you you make an effort to earn this on the first scene, other possible candidates are scene #6, #13, #16 & #18.

I am unsure if this can be earned in the bonus chapter, as such if you are in danger of missing this achievement, I have added time stamps for all scenes in my walkthrough should you want to prime yourself in advance.
Time Stands Still.
Complete a Minigame in less than a minute.
To earn this achievement you must complete a mini-game puzzle in less than 60 seconds. There are 33 opportunities (or 34) to earn this achievement during the main game and I doubt anyone could miss it as part of their natural progression, a third, perhaps even half the puzzles can easily be completed in less than a minute, I personally unlocked it on the very first.
Glimpse Catcher.
Find one Morphing item.
This achievement will pop after locating your first Morphing Puzzle Piece. Please refer to the collectables chapter of this guide for the locations of all collectables. I have also added time indexes in my video walkthrough with the locations of all collectables.
Genius at Work.
Complete 5 Minigames without skipping them.
To earn this achievement you must complete 5 mini-game puzzles during the main game without skipping. If you are trying to 100% Family Mysteries 2: Echoes of Tomorrow, do not skip any of the mini-game puzzles.
Riveting Master.
Play through the first hour of the game without skipping any cutscenes.
To earn this achievement, do not skip any cutscenes from the start of the game until this achievement pops. Once it pops, you are free to skip if you wish to do so as there are no further achievements relating to cutscenes.
Time Travel Enthusiast.
Find 7 digital articles.
This achievement will pop after locating your seventh Digital Article. Please refer to the collectables chapter of this guide for the locations of all collectables. I have also added time indexes in my video walkthrough with the locations of all collectables.
Scanner Eyes.
Finish 3 Hidden Object Puzzles without a Hint.
This achievement will pop after completing three scenes without using a hint. Once this achievement pops you are free to use hints in scenes if you wish as there are no further achievements relating to completing scenes without hints.
Lightspeed.
Finish 3 Hidden Object Puzzles in less than 10 minutes.
To earn this achievement you must complete 3 scenes consecutively in a total time of less than 10 minutes.
Peripheral Vision Master.
Find all the Morphing items.
This achievement pops after locating all 14 of the Morphing Puzzle Pieces located in the main game. Please refer to the collectables chapter of this guide for the locations of all collectables. I have also added time indexes for my video walkthrough with the locations of all collectables.
Time Travel Mythologists.
Find all the digital articles.
This achievement pops after locating all 28 Digital Articles in Family Mysteries 2: Echoes of Tomorrow. Please refer to the collectables chapter of this guide for the locations of all collectables. I have also added time indexes for my video walkthrough with the location of all collectables.
Brain Power Up.
Finish all the Minigames without skipping them.
To earn this achievement you must complete all mini-games during the main game without skipping any of them.
