What started out as a safe haven for the Commonwealth's most revered Automatons turned into a hellscape when these mechanical beings appeared. Sector by sector, the entire planet was defiled by these metallic entities. Nothing sacred remained.

The damage was so severe that we haven't visited in centuries. To go to war would be a fruitless endeavor. The planet has long been considered dead by the Commonwealth but we have been monitoring these beings, trying to understand their heinous existence.

Wanted to try something out of my comfort zone for the Dreams & Nightmares contest. Was inspired by Zdzisław Beksiński's amazing work when making the scene, trying to capture themes of desolation, abandonment, and loneliness to a degree.
