Go to %localappdata%\StateOfDecay2\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Game.ini
Copy-paste following text:

[/script/movieplayer.movieplayersettings] bWaitForMoviesToComplete=False bMoviesAreSkippable=True StartupMovies=

If for some reason the settings are reset, try assigning the read-only attribute to the Game.ini file.

xham6690 , replace? Inside game code? No, I can't help with that.
But you can make backups of your saves. Manually, or with Save Backup Tool [www.nexusmods.com].

Thank you. I'd like to remove the Checkpoint save system and replace it with a Manual save system, to remove frustration and tedium. Do you know how to do this?
