Have you ever been in the middle of a long game of EU4, and thought to yourself, man, I wish this game had a nice chill puzzle mode to enjoy after defeating all of Europe in a coalition?

Have you ever wondered how much more fun EU4 would be with a giant game grid in the middle of the Atlantic?

Do you love Minesweeper? Alternatively, do you enjoy really dumb mod ideas?

If you answered either yes or no to any of the above, then this mod is for you!

Features

This mod adds a 10x10 grid of minesweeper in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. Gameplay for regular nations remains unchanged, apart from a slight difficulty increase to colonizers due to the wasteland square in the Atlantic.

The player can, at any time, choose to switch to the Minesweeper country. There, you can play Minesweeper to your heart's content while the game is paused, and whenever you want (even if it's in the middle of a game), switch back to EU4 and continue your 100 development tall Arabia challenge!

Gameplay

The Mod works on EU4 1.33.x . It is not Ironman compatible, and will not work with existing save files.

To play Minesweeper, switch to the Minesweeper Country (or start a new game as that country), then use the decision to start a game! The grid will populate with icons.

You can choose one of the preset difficulties, or choose a custom number of bombs anywhere from 1 to 100! Each game is randomly generated and different from the last!

Once a game has started, you can click the icon to open the province view beneath it. Use the development buttons to play minesweeper. Administrative development clears a tile, Military development flags the tile, and diplomatic development is the middle mouse interaction in Minesweeper (it clears the neighbors of a tile which has the right number of flags).

If you clear a bomb, the game is over, but don't worry, you can just as easily start a new one!

There is a tutorial in-game, so don't worry about forgetting any of this.
