How-To - Fix a loading issue

This Guide is outdated! Not working anymore.
Sorry for that, but SF is just a dead horse. Don´t ride it anymore :)

This Guide describes a way, how you can fix the most loading issues for Sniper Fury.

Loading issue to 64% ( Stuck and crash or with connection error )
Loading issue to 88% ( Flickering between 88% and 90% )
Loading issue to 98% ( Flickering between 98% and 90% )

For some connection errors, this can work too.

1) Preparation

Go to your Sniper Fury folder (for the most common users it is in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sniper Fury\ )
Delete everything inside
Go to your Steam library and choose the mainpage of Sniper Fury.
Choose the gear-button on the right side and choose there "manage" and then "delete from account" (nothing will be deleted!)

2) Download

Quit Steam and be sure, it is sure off.
Download Original files - click here[1drv.ms] and extract the zip file.
Copy all files inside to the now empty folder in C:\Program Files\(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sniper Fury\

The files you have to download are old saved files. They are original and not changed at all. in the later process the game will overwrite the updated files and keeps the still good files.
I give my personal reputation for it.

3) Finalize and update

Go to Steam Store and search for Sniper Fury, scroll down and choose "launch game"
Accept all like a new installation.
After it is installed, start game from your Steam Library

4) Summary

I have fixed with this workaround many accounts.
For some without use of the downloaded files, but for the most, the old files are needed.

the game still doesn't start - 97% then it stops and doesn't start

31.12.2023 Diese Lösung funktioniert nicht mehr (leider) Der Support von Gameloft wurde bereits am 25.12.2022 mit der Conversation ID: #1982888 kontaktiert.

Lösung : Uninstall Steam > reinstall Steam with new account on Steam > LOGGED with the new account on Sniper Fury and play only the first part through so the introduction. then logout SF and Steam . new login with your own account then you should get back on it

Lösung : Steam deinstallieren > Steam neu installieren mit neuem Account auf Steam > mit dem neuen Account auf Sniper Fury LOGGED und nur den ersten Teil durchspielen also die Einleitung. dann SF und Steam ausloggen . neu einloggen mit dem eigenen Account dann sollte man wieder drauf kommen (so war es bei mir und vielen anderen ....)

ob es gelingt > keine Gewähr > hab das gleiche bei einem anderen Spieler am 30.12.2022 durchgeführt leider ohne Ergebnis

Thanks for trying to help, unfortunately this method does not help, because it is related to the shutdown of servers in Russia and Belarus

unfortunately, this method no longer works - it freezes at 88% and stays there

Yeah 4x tried this and still stuck on 93%!!!!!! Getting tired of this with SF. I have to stop, lose progress on the game. GL spends too much time on surveys and not enough time making game always playable.

Hallo Markus, ich schliesse mich VanDamage an. Ich hatte gestern das gleiche Problem mit dem Starten des Spieles auf einem neuen Rechner. Dank Snipes Hilfe und Anleitung konnte ich das Problem selbst lösen und es funzt wieder. Da du ja auch erheblichen Anteil an dem Lösungsweg hast, bedanke ich mich recht herzlich für deine Unterstützung in diesem Spiel.

Absolutely Fantastic Guide, I had the Loading issue to 98% ( Flickering between 98% and 90% ) this is not the first time this has happened, I had the same issue back in November 2020 & was out of the Game for 3 months whilst Customer Care sorted the issue.
This Morning with the Help of your Guide I was back in the Game within 1 hour....
