Overview
ChilloutVR has massive potential in the VR space, to the point of being able to bring down large and well known games like Neos and VRChat. However, it can not use this potential without a player base to back it up.

Here, I'm going to list all of the major ways ChilloutVR (or CVR as I will call it through out) can grow in numbers and popularity.
The Main List
1: Word of Mouth
This is the main way a game will grow in popularity. It's how every game has gotten it's start and why games have player bases in the first place, however this can only go so far as (like we see now with CVR) games will quickly hit a stand still and not gain or loose players.

2: Advertisements
This is where things get confusing and where it is up to both the devs and players. Advertisements are not just youtube ads (those won't help any way because people just hit Skip AD). when I say "advertisements" I mean YouTubers and or streamers giving light to the game. If a popular streamer or youtuber mentions "there switching to CVR" a lot of things will happen, first, fans will look into what the game is, and second, they will more than likely switch to the platform. This is what I like to call "the ninja effect" as we saw this happen when ninja switch to Mixr. How the Devs come into play is with sponsor ship deals/review units. I'm not meaning a physical thing though, let me explain.
CVR has a paid upgrade that is a one time payment, similar to how a company will give youtubers review units they can keep, the Devs could potently give the account upgrade to a youtuber in exchange for the youtubers review.

3: The Players
I've hired multiple times from people in other games like Neos and VRChat say things like "I'll play it soon", "My friends aren't there", and (what I hate the most) "I'll play it when it has more players". This though process is keeping CVR from thriving because if people wait for more players, simply put, there won't be more players, there won't be new players, and the game won't grow. This is common sense to me, but to me but it may not be to those who say it. There is now way that I know of to change this, you can't just change the way people think unfortunately, because this is what's preventing CVR from growing.
Conclusion
That's every way I could think to grow CVR's player base. Thees can sky rocket the user count if done correctly and have CVR live up to it's potential. If you have any other ways you could think of to grow the game, leave a comment and I'll take a look.

Thank you for reading

I will also add a personal tidbit- a proper showcase channel in the official Discord would be nice, so new users and lurkers can actually see the cool shit possible in ChilloutVR. I should not be needing to learn the CCK and the possibilities here by digging through the code and bugging old players.

We need better creator tools and UI before any sort of push for more players. No one will want to move if the platform in general seems like a downgrade from what they are used to.

ChilloutVR also needs to sort out their outward appearance as a brand. They have no landing page for new users to learn about the platform, no good documentation for their creator tools, their Twitter status page hasn't even been touched in 2 years, the Twitter tags are mainly VRChat p*rn, TOS written in broken English and contradicting itself in places, and their press kit page is just broken.

The platform entirely needs a major cleanup to its outside image if we are to attract new players. We also need better tools and proper UI to keep those players longer than an hour.

well i moved over here because about two years ago my dad blocked vrc for no real reason (i was about 14 then, 16 now.) however now that i can play cvr (still can't play vrc) i've been stuck here, i did try Neo's but hated it, while cvr still had the same feel of vrc that i had been used to, while i have a big issue of lack of friends over here (many friends have not wanted to move or whatever) one main reason form them so far has been that they don't want to or have heard of issues regarding transferring their avatar over, or as you had said in the guide of "my friends aren't there" or "not active enough" anyways rant over, thanks for reading my random thought spill ^^ (if you'd like to be friends my cvr username s LegoBear, shouldn't be hard to find)

I moved over during the EAC update and became one of the largest avatar worlds in just a few months so slowly covering the "There's not enough public avatars" department xD

People stay with the platform where their friends and their favorite content are, EAC won't gonna change that! The game can get miserably bad but people are still online because it takes a lot more to get them change from one game to another. The entire content has to move and people are lazy.

They can't even switch from Windows to Linux because of their software. Do you really think they switch from VRC to CVR As much as I wish they do, they do not. That's why VRC is gonna stay popular.

In order for CVR to get any popular, it needs way more user-friendly UI, more shiny UI elements, easier way to upload content and of course the content creators like avatar creators have to supply CVR-ready content.
