描述
OVERVIEW
An alternative way to display Ship Overlay icons. After getting to mid-game, I kept confusing my ships, specially when they're stationed on the same station, hence, this mod was born.

NOTES
I hate editing .DDS files. Also, Steam screwed this entire description and vanilla images so there might be inconsistencies.

they stick out like a sore thumb. Even if they're blurry, the default icons should blend better with the other graphics.

Hey dude, how do you feel about these icons from the mod "Better Ship Icons"? I was thinking about doing a colorized version of these, and I'm curious your opinion on them!

can confirm, May 30 update is working on the current Stellaris game version, 3.8.2. Colored Ship Type Icons is back on the menu boys!

OK, it's working locally but I'm not sure if the online version was correctly uploaded (with Shoff's version). Can someone corroborate it's working?

Here's a playtest screenshot of my personal use minor UI overhaul mod, called Vanilla+ Map Icons, with Colored Ship Type Icons. (I only produce personal use mods, so the Vanilla+ Map Icons mod is set to visibility = Friends Only. Also, this screenshot doesn't actually represent the final form, because I had an issue during this particular playtest session where my custom system nameplates didn't render, instead showing the original nameplates for some reason.)

Anyways, assuming Steam doesn't remove my Imgur link too like that other Firefox Send link, there is a download link to the fixed "ship_overlay_icons.dds" file in the Imgur post description:

Sounds good, I'll be around! I'm on Discord too if that's convenient for you (you can find me pretty easily if you're in the Stellaris Modding Den server).

I have actually been wanting to make my own original version of your Colored Ship Type Icons for over a year, when I first started UI modding. But your color selection is so perfect (e.g. purple space amoeba icon) that I literally haven't found a hue combination that looks as good & simultaneously is distinct enough to not feel like a ripoff to me lol
