- Open these 3 files in a hex editor (e.g. HxD[mh-nexus.de])
= (Path-to-game)\Rainbow Six Vegas\KellerGame\Content\CookedPc\Core.uppc
= (Path-to-game)\Rainbow Six Vegas\KellerGame\Content\CookedPc\Engine.uppc
= (Path-to-game)\Rainbow Six Vegas\KellerGame\Content\CookedPc\R6Game.uppc

- Press Ctrl+R to open the "Replace" dialog
- Select the "Floating point number" tab
- Search for 59.84
- Replace with a FOV of your choosing (e.g. 90)
- Click "Replace all"
- Repeat for all 3 files
- Done! Next time the game is started everything should be the specified FOV

i turned it to 70
but now wanting to get 67 - i would change it more often like 100 times or 17 times. Before it was one and simular.
Guess i do need the original files to do that now

Thanks much. It worked like a charm. Now I can see properly and even the movement through the game world feels much faster. Aiming iof all sorts s exponentially more accurate as well.

Only thing is I set it to 85 which I read somewhere is the max allowed. Anything higher like 90 causes the file size to change. Fearing this might cause instability and crashing I just set it to 85 is plenty. Kudos for a truly useful tip and mini-guide.
