-- Introduction --
This guide is meant show new players or returning players where to level, ways to level faster, what to save while leveling, an introduction to getting boosted and boosting people yourself.

-- Leveling Spots --
Levels 1-10:
Here you should just do your main story line (the yellow one) when you hit level 10 you should have reached Calde rock village and thats where the next leveling spots begin. i tend to run on hard or normal difficulty till level 5. When you hit level five enchance your weapon and off hand at the blacksmith to +6 (which is the safe limit and it barely cost a thing, so there is no excuse not to it) Then you should be able to do dungeons on master without much trouble oh yeah enhance your armor too while your at it (extra hp and mp)

Levels 10-16
!!!! Always remember to pick up the repeatable quest from the board from now on !!!!
From Level 10-16 i recommend joining a group or getting someone to boost but if you really insist on soloing you can continue with your main quest. If you choose to get boosted Sigh Canyon[Abyss] is the place to be runs takes abit over a minute depending on the booster and will have you hit 16 in 40 mins or so. With Groups it depends on the group Sigh canyon[Master mode] is a good spot others prefer raiders den maps you cant really go wrong here. Raiders den is quite nice on master if you plan to solo.

Levels 16-25
!!!! Don't forget to do your job specialization quest first !!!!
DTMI DTMI DTMI Nuff said doesn't matter what class you are or if your grouping or not, Dark Tower Magic Institute is the best place to level from 16-24. If you feel confident solo running do master mode if not run hard mode till you do. If your in a group do master mode and if your getting boosted by your master(mentor) run it on abyss.

Levels 24-32
!!!! Get Level 24 gear from Minotaurs nest or Trading house !!!!
At level 24 you should head to Saint Haven talk to Ticket Agent Arnen near the big Airship in Calde rock village. The Next place you want to level Flooded Downstream Ruins. To get there head out the south portal in Saint Haven and go to the other side of the map. For this i highly recommend grabbing a group and run master mode. but if your a masochist try to run it on master if you cant lower the difficulty to hard mode. In the start of Flooded downstream ruins there are 2 paths left or right, The left one tends to be faster since there is less running between portals. Getting a booster at this level is very hard since no one will want to boost you here unless they get something out of it.

Levels 32-40
!!!! Get level 32 gear !!!!
Gates to city of death is the place to be and its fairly easy to farm too. at one point the path will split and each lead to different bosses. Try out both bosses and decide for yourself which is easier. i prefered the dark elf path on my windwalker and fighting the stone giant. I hate the shields that mobs have on the mine path. Again run this on master or lower if you plan to solo. Master with a group and Abyss if your lucky enough to find a booster.

Levels 40-50
!!!! Get Level 40 gear !!!!
Now we head off to the next party hub in the game Lotus Marsh. The dungeon your going to be running now is Riverwort Ruins. This is where the boosters will start to appear again due to the polished Alteum drops. if your getting boosted Abyss mode. Groups run master mode(there's never a lack of groups) If solo run master as well. You can can also choose to pick up all side quests in Lotus Marsh and in Saint Haven and do those for a change of pace. But the fastest way is boost runs or group runs in Riverwort Ruins.

Levels 50-60
!!!! Get level 50 gear !!!!
Now for the final frontier of leveling... Fallen Meteor Boundary Region get a group there is always one or two here and just grind it out. Just remember to grab the board quest. Runs are fast and since there is only one loading screen your gonna get roughly a level a hour here.
-- Tips, What to save and getting boosted --
Tips:
Here is a few tips to remember while leveling:
  • Cant say this enough, Remember your Repeatable Board quests after level 9 they are pretty much half your EXP
  • Join a guild thats at least level 20. Level 20 guilds give you a 10% exp boost
  • Join a guild guild thats 24+ if possible and you can buy a pledge costume set which add another 10% exp
  • Getting boosted by a master increases your exp gain by 10% aswell
  • Get a 2nd password increase your monster kill exp by ALOT!
  • You can have 3 Masters(mentors)
  • You can become a mentor yourself at level 40
  • Being an apprentice you get gifts at certain levels (some decent accessories)
  • when you reach 40 you graduate from the pupil status
  • Always Enhance your weapons first to +6 (which is the safe limit) your armor parts can be tiers behind but try your best to keep atleast your weapons up to the current tier
  • Get level 24 Premium stat heraldry they will last you till you hit 60 you just need that % boost!(farm them in minotaurs nest) Start with Atk power or Matk power depending on your class.>Final Damage(Ultimate) > Main Stat (Bear, Wise, Wind) > Crit (Fatal) > Health(Hp)

What to save:
Here is a list of items to save and take note of while leveling up.
  • Alteums, save em all.. you will need em later for enhancing and the lower grade ones can merged into higher grade ones.
  • Dimensional Box Keys, 20 These sell for roughly 90 gold on the Trading house.
  • Dimensional shards, You can either NPC vendor them or get skill premium skill pouches. if you choose to npc vendor them atleast save em till you get the golden goose buff(gift alot of items to npcs and buy it from the Dishonest merchant in Saint Haven.
  • Premium skill plates, save them till you understand what people are looking for and then try to turn a quick buck
  • NPC gifts, these are great for alliance points that you then turn around into gear till level 50 or for the golden goose buff, Also the NPCs will gift you stuff back :)
  • Incomplete stamps keep them they are required to sell alot of stuff on the trading house
Getting Boosted and Boosting players
Getting boosted by players basically means you follow while the other higher level player slaughters everything that looks slightly funny at you and in turn you get super fast exp.

Getting boosted
The places you tend to get boosted from are calde rock village Sigh Canyon(lv 10-16) and DTMI (16-24) some boosters do this for free, others want payment, some want all loot and some want your keys or just one key. when you get boosted here you get 2 keys per run from the bunny at the end of abyss run. (remember one is used to open the bunny) so you gain on key per run.
When your getting boosted the unwritten rule is stamps and alteums and sundries (NPC vendor trash like rusties) goes to the booster.

At 25-40 you will have to pay the boosters since they have no incenstive what so ever to boost other then being a helpful player. Prices are normally around 70-100g per level some charge 30g per run but its really a sellers market since the demand for boosts are high and the supply of boost runs are fairly low.

40+ you can find some free boosters but all loot will go to them of couse. Boosters use other peoples BP to farm alteum and other goodies and but still some will demand payment too.

Becoming a Booster
at level 40 you can become a booster yourself the question is why would you do it.

  • masters(mentors) get 2 keys as well per run (remember they sell 90g per stack)
  • Can charge extra key from boost buyer
  • Can charge gold for boosting as well
  • Can by fun trying to beat your own time (my DTMI record: 55 seconds)
  • Good way to gain friends
  • You dont loose BP or equip durability when running with an apprentice
  • All loot is yours (just remember to say that)
  • Boosting apprentices gains you respect points. the more points the higher you are on the list when under lvl 30s look at the apprentice tab
  • Rarely any competition
  • Not a bad source of income when your Nest runs are used up.
