Workaround to play with the full resolution of your display

This configuration fix the blurry low resolution on PSO2.
Many users think 4K resolution on PSO2 is exclusive to Xbox One X, but that's not true at all. It's actually just a bug in the PC version that doesn't allow you to set the resolution correctly.

Solution to fix the resolution problem
Some people have encountered issues with the game resolution on 2K or 4K displays, but also people with FullHD displays.

Go to:
\SteamApps\common\PHANTASYSTARONLINE2_NA_STEAM\pso2_bin

or


then go to the pso2_bin folder.







Right click to pso2.exe and click on properties, then follow the instructions in the screenshots:

Make sure you have selected "Application".

If the texts are now too small
Open "Enviroment Settings" from the game launcher, go to the "Screen" section, and select the text size according to your monitor resolution.
For example I have a 4K monitor, so I have selected 2.2x.

3840x2160 = 2.2x
2560x1440 = 1.8x
1920x1080 = 1.4x
1600x900 = 1.2x
1280x720 = Standard

if you have a 21:9 monitor, simply select the horizontal resolution.

can this game remove z fighter ? even ngs it still have z fighter soannoy when look at object far away

it not work override dpi in pso.exe or use 100% dpi or use grahphic preference to high performance or DSR from 2k to 4k .game still look the same (bad ),i have 2k montitor 1080ti ,32 gb ram, core i 7 3.7 ghz .i dont know why they not just make NGS as standalone. The same folder same game that mean it still use old engine .the ladder and tree of genshin impact still better than this jagged flickering tree and ladder ,bridge when walk or far away. zzzzzz

Legit solution to a resolution bug. Your fix also caused my screenshots to become 1920 x 1080 (from 1536 x 864)

Glad to see this works; it didn't in CBT and I had to manually change my desktop scaling every time I wanted to play.
