Amazing mod! The final defense section is balanced well on normal, not being too easy but not too difficult either. Though i got the exact same problem as the comment before me, i got softlocked because i got around the forcefield without opening it first.

ok big problem. I failed to open the gray cabinet under the metal staircase on the 2nd floor, which (i think) holds the circular 'tire' that goes in the apparatus that you spin so the laser goes through all 4 activating the machine that opens the force field leading to another point on that floor. Trouble is, not doing that, still allowed me to battle the Combine in the Dinosaur exhibit room, but now I'm trapped between the ground floor and 2nd floor. I have no way of getting up to the 3rd floor so I can't get to that metal staircase that would lead me to the compartment holding the wheel. Stuck at around 60pct map completion and I ain't going back. Dayum!

Absolute blast of a mod! Ending fight can be somewhat cheesed by camping at one of the spawning points for the waves as it's easy to see through and provides decent cover against enemies coming from the other side. Unblocking the last panel for me seemed a little glitched as no green light came on for it so I had to use trial and error; not a big deal but thought for a minute that I was soft-locked and had to load an older save or something.

Some tips for players:
- Look around everywhere for resources, at some point you will get more than enough health pens & ammo for pistol
- 2 lighting headcrabs game crash - you must block the hole in wall (look on right) before entering into lighting headcrabs room AND close the door behind you, so they stay inside room.
- Ending fight is hardest due to open space for enemies - remember about the iron wall behind control panel, and keep some grenades & health pens

That was a tough mod but really enjoyable.

Difficult game, I barely passed. On the whole, well done.

One of the best HLA mods I have ever played, BAR NONE! With over 650 hrs played, your is one of the mods I've enjoyed the best, certainly 1 of the top 3. The great layout, design, quality of VR design, excellent, please, keep up the great work I haven't looked yet but I'm hoping you have other work I can explore...
