Introduction
Halo owners of the removed returned back to Steam because of the movie game!

I'm almost done with the Deadpool achievements, so I decided to share several tips on number of them to satisfy my need for writing guides =] I will be borrowing some stuff from the internet and another Steam guide written on Russian language, since there is no full guide on achievements in English yet, but it won't be that much.

To be honest I like the structure of the that Russian guide, and I can't be sure that he didn't borrow it from somewhere else as well, but nyways achievements can be grouped up into three categories: General, Chapter (Mission) Related and Challenges. So I will make a simple list with a name and description and add some details where to my understanding things might be a lil tricky.
General achievements
  • Only when he stops breathing - Set the Dialog Volume slider to zero.

  • Pull the grenade, throw the pin - Kill a total of 15 enemies by holding cooked grenades (just keep the button pressed and let the grenade explode in your hands and kill some baddies around).
  • Taco Savior - Collect 100 tacos (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chimichanga).
  • No DP? No madness - Complete the game on Veteran difficulty.
  • Know DP? Know madness - Complete the game on Ultra-Violence! difficulty.
  • Drunk on power - Upgrade all weapons to max.
  • Unbalanced - Purchase all Player Upgrades.
  • Be like Joe - Bank a 300-hit combo. Here you can find a video I made to practice some audio extracting and editing, because there was already one video on the youtube. But mine was done on Ultra Violence difficulty with a slightly another approach:

    Don't forget to grab tokens and pistol ammo in the bathroom for the Spawn more Deadpool-lords achievement.
Mission (chapter) related achievements
There are eight chapters in the game, so let's take a look at each of them. If the criteria requires zero effort or is story related I will just leave the description.
Chapter 1 - Home Sweet Home
  • The first one's free! - Get off your well-toned bottom.
  • The second one is also free... - Be pretty.
  • I'm expecting company - Make a thousand pancakes (stove can be found in the kitchen).

  • Makin' a game! - Playing with Deadpool's junk. There are a total of 14 items to play with (taken from trueachivements.com):
    1. Watch TV (right in front of you when you take control);
    2. Guitar practice (neon guitar left of TV);
    3. Nap time (dirty couch right of the TV);
    4. Show and tell (bookcase right of couch);
    5. Make a call (next to chair you start at);
    6. Doggy style. (dog behind the chair);
    7. Cook (in room left of guitar to the right) also pops this one for making pancakes;
    8. Open refrigerator (right when you enter kitchen. Must keep drinking beer till deadpool yells at you);
    9. Pizza time (next to the oven in kitchen. Must keep feeding deadpool till he stops which takes about 4 times);
    10. Kill germs (in bathroom next to the dog);
    11. Make a stink pickle (in bathroom next to the dog);
    12. Interact (in bedroom next to the bookcase to your left is a pump when you first walk in);
    13. Use the internets (in bedroom computer is to the left);
    14. Check your load out (gun wall straight in front of you when you enter bedroom)
Chapter 2 - Job One
  • In the lobby comboin' your dudes - Score a combo higher than 40 before they lock the elevators. Here is the lobby:

  • 49 in 5 - Get from the studio lobby to the boardroom without dying in 5 minutes. Here is the place where the timer starts, just when you interact with a lift door:

    And here is when the timer ends and the achievement should pop up if you made it:

  • The house that bounces - Complete 'Job One'.
Chapter 3 - Taking a Chance
  • Catch me if you can - Defeat Arclight while taking no damage from her slam attacks.
  • Beer goggles - Use all three switches, defeat the two phasers, and chase after Vertigo within 60 seconds. Timer starts after a short cinematic:

    And achievement popped up for me right here:

  • HEEEEY YOOOOO GUYYYYYSSSS! - Take no damage on the waterslide.

  • No Chance in heaven - Complete 'Taking a Chance'.
Chapter 4 - Genosha
  • Let's try one more time! - Slap Wolverine a bunch of times (slap him until the Achievement will pop up, he will endure a real lot of punishment).
  • Curious about Cable - Play WTF is Cable (just press the button to know more about Cable when you first encounter him):

  • Shall I? I Shanti! - In 'Genosha' reach the Fan Girl using only Hammers and Plasma Rifles.
  • Remarkably quiet - Kill 4 enemies in the Tower Plaza with stealth kills. This one is quite easy, but hey, I finally found a decent program to add some texts to the video ^_^ :

  • This game is rigged! - Shoot everything from the Wheel of Insanity (Balloons and the Cow). There will be two floors with the Wheel of Insanity, here you can see some pink balloons on the first one:

    And more balloons as well as a cow on the second floor of the tower:

  • Caribou's Shoe - Complete 'Genosha'.
Chapter 5 - Landed in Prison
  • So you've got some free time? - Complete 'Landed in Prison' without countering any attacks. Just forget about the blink / counter button, really easy on easy difficulty. Flashbangs will help with Blockbuster.
  • Social butterfly - Interact with all the ladies at the Shower Surprise Party room.
  • Fish out of water - Get through Toxic River without falling into or touching the water and taking damage. Here is presumably when you should start to care about not falling into the poop river:

    And here you should get the achievement, right when you complete a room after getting the advanced teleport:

    As some guides in the internet suggested, if I fell in poop I exited to main menu and continued instead of restarting checkpoint. And i dunno if that made any difference to be honest, so just try to do it on the first run. Perfect timing for double jumps is the key.
  • Silent and deadly - Get a stealth kill with every melee weapon in Sinister's Lair without being detected. Four enemies, three melee weapons, that's it.
  • Game Over! - Stealth Kill Sinister, in the Prison, with the Sword!
  • Game On! - Heh heh, good times.
Chapter 6 - Death, Baby
  • ARRR-Rated - Beat 'Death, Baby' while wearing the pirate hat. To be honest, I received this one by doing nothing special, but it looks like I just got lucky to complete orange statue challenge as the last one. So make sure you do the same, otherwise you will end with a turban hattie, so no ARRR for you!

  • Diggin' in the crates - Find 11 treasure chests in the darkness of the Tombs. Your main enemy will be fkn bugged chests, so make sure you stored some patience before you try this one. Here you can see how I roll it on Ultra Violence! difficulty (and it was around 7th of 8th run, because of bugs):

    Update [2015/07/19]: Carrion shared an interesting info, that could help you battle dem bugged chests - try throwing a grenade the same time you press a button to open a chest, that should open them from the first time. Thanks, mate!

  • Patience is not a virtue - Choose the patience option all the way through the line in the Carnival.

  • Officially a Carny - Get a high score at the Carnival.
  • Poulos-Vision - Complete 'Death, Baby'.
Chapter 7 - The Road to Victory
  • Spawn more Deadpool-lords - Collect all DP points and ammo in the bathroom. Here is the bathroom you need:

    And here is what we need to pick, shoot some pistol rounds if your pistol ammo is full:

  • PC LOAD LEAD-ER - Shoot up the copier in the bridge offices. Here is the room with the copier:

    And here is your sworn enemy:

  • I can open doors! - Complete the Breach in 10 seconds. Complete the slo-mo shootout in 10 seconds after this small cinematic:

  • JR's Big Adventure - Complete 'The Road to Victory'.
Chapter 8 - Front Gates of EEEEEEEVIL!
There is kinda special checkpoint that practically separates some achievements from another ones. It's on the first solid platform you land after you hear a joke about Magneto's tiny weenie:

    Thus I could suggest two playthroughs of this Chapter:

    Playthrough one - Easy difficulty
    • I am Deadpool - Complete 'Front Gates of EEEEEEEVIL!' from start to finish using only swords and pistols.
    • Suck it, Wolverine! - Complete 'Front Gates of EEEEEEEVIL!' from start to finish without dying
    • Let's-a-Go! - Make it across the floating debris without falling. Platforms begin right from the very start of the chapter and end on the "Tiny weenie" solid platform. Keep in mind that falling and teleporting still counts as a fail and some guides recommend to restart the chapter straight away. On the other hand BunnyLizard suggested that restarting the checkpoint from the main menu should be enough. You are free to exeperiment =]
    • A Sinister smush - Complete 'Front Gates of EEEEEEEVIL!'.

    (Half) Playthrough two - Ultra Violence! difficulty
    • It's a trap! - Score a combo of 75 or more while fighting up the stairs at the 'Front Gates of EEEEEEEVIL!'. There are some other videos with lower difficulties that you can find, but I got full character and weapon upgrades and didn't want to reset them, so I made this on Ultra Violence! and it took me quite some tries. Last three (including successful one) can be seen on this quick video. And I'm sorry, audio wasn't recorded, so I introduced some peaceful music instead.

    • You've been Cole-slaw-tered! - Die 10 times in a row through the floating stairs. This could be easily achieved by trying It's a Trap achievement on Ultra Violence! =] Just in case - falling down and teleporting does not count, so I recommend to die from being constantly hit with something. On the other hand, Lynsuri noted that they got the achievement by simply falling down to the abyss after they reached the "Tiny weenie" solid platform. So you guys are free to experiment.
    Challenges
    • Cole'd Blooded - Combo an entire wave on any Gold-tier Challenge map. This could be ridiculously easy on the Catacombs of Genosha map:

    • Shields up - Complete a Gold- or Silver-tier Challenge while countering at least 25 times.
    • Gold rush - Complete five Gold Challenges.
    Conclusion
    This is my second big guide, so yay! Have fun playing, this is game is not that bad as some reviews say.

    Cheers!

    To do "Suck it, Wolverine!": I can confirm you can "restart from checkpoint" If you fall down.

    @Anis Del Chango
    Hey! It's been quite a long time I've been there, but as far as I remember, you can't play the game on one difficulty and then change it to Ultra Violence just for the last level. So you need to play the full game on the hardest difficulty. I've just had a quick look in the Internets and found no info about this being possible as well, but you might want to check more thouroughly if that is critical for you.

    Just as a side note - Ultra Violence is not that hard, I don't remember having any Dark Souls moments with being stuck somewhere for hours, so you should be good :cozybethesda:
