1 year before the events of Half Life: Alyx, 18 year old Alyx Vance is assigned to investigate a brewery under Combine control. She finds her way there, only to wind up in a pitch black room, with no power and just a flashlight!

About:

My first ever map! Originally made for the HLA Modding Community Mapping contest, this project got far too big (and me too busy) to complete in time, so I settled to release outside of the contest. Please let me know about any glitches/bugs you may have. Took 1-2 months to make.

Just replayed recently. One of the better early maps to come out of the workshop. Strong coloured lighting adds a lot to the atmosphere, you clearly spent a lot of time getting that aspect right. Fights between you and enemies on a floor above or below you were fun, perfect length for what you were going for.

That being said, I'd still look forward to that part 2 if you get around to finishing it sometime, especially if it was a thematically similar layout, and focus on cool lighting of one or two other strong colours. :)
