Great God, may I ask how to turn off the ambient lighting effect generated by the muzzle of weapons when firing in the game? When firing in the game (especially in the dark), there will be strong lighting in the surrounding environment, especially for shotguns. Rocket launchers also generate ambient lighting during flight, which is too dazzling. I cannot find the option to turn off this effect in the game settings. Is there a way to turn off the special effects in the game
Please help me
With the re-release on Steam, I will be honest I never dumped the contents of this patch on top of the game yet, I've been having a lot of fun with the remaster.
If you'd like to still apply it, you can simply point the installer to where your Quake 2 installation is after all the game is downloaded and its DLC's (if you have them) and just simply launch quake2 as they keep the remaster stuff in its own folder.
Does the remaster still give you issues? Best of luck!
I've been wanting to play this game for 10 years but could never find any solution to play it basically vanilla (as intended when it came out) on a modern system + without the annoying mouse acceleration
But I have a problem with 1920x1080 resolution. At this setting I can only see part of the screen, it's just cropped. Does anyone else have this ussie?
