Veteran Hearts of Iron modder, new to Stellaris. This is my first mod here. (second, somewhat as this is a reload of my last mod WITHOUT the contraversial banner... *sigh*)

Details

This mod adds 250+ male and female human "wigs" (for lack of a better name). The mod will be updated over time with the creation/editing/retirement of material.

Best used in combination with

*Remastered Human Portraits
Human Variety
Better Human Portraits

Best to put the mod at the bottom of your launcher list, as it just replaces hairstyles. Should be usable with any other mod.

The mod also has culture specific hair, so that your asian, african, middle eastern, european, eurasian, etc. cultures have some shared, but many specific hairstyles.

Works in 3.12 Machine Age.

My load order to make it work (without balding):

Human Variety (Linked on this mod's page above)
*Remastered Human Portraits (Linked on this mod's page above)
Human Hair v2 (This mod)

Using these mods in this order (at the top of my load order, if that matters), gives me access to all additional hair options and does not result in balding, unless chosen as a hairstyle of course.

Emm, i can only see one folder named "asset_selectors" after opening the folder "gfx\portraits" and it contains 10 txts titled like "human_female_01_hair", in which no "selector" word could be searched with the notebook. help please:steamsad:

What load order am I supposed to use for all of these SE mods? I've done all of the replacing of the "hair_selectors" I can and none of it has worked, my characters are still bald and the attachment option is still grayed out.

You don't have 2097152337 because Uto provided the wrong folder. This mod is 2037107797. Everything else he said to fix the problem is correct, just had the wrong folder.

I don't have 2097152337 folder so I searched for 09_portraits_humanoid.txt, mass replaced, and.... nothing.. still bald :*(

Ok, so problem is in SE - Humanoid. Fix is easy, can do it yourself in a minute or two:

- Go to ...steamapps\workshop\content\281990\2097152337\gfx\portraits\portraits
- Replace all instances of "hair_selector" with "attachment_selector" in the file 09_portraits_humanoid.txt (can use notepad++, has mass replace function, also might want to make backups)
- Start game again
- Make hot space elves with unreasonably coquettish hair
- Enslave and purge everyone else
