Der Riese Survival Guide

A (hopefully) helpful guide on surviving Der Riese(or at least to a decent round)

Step 1: Solo or co op, Open the door on the right. It should take you to another door, and open that when you get the chance. If opening the right doors, you will be in the animal test room thing. Clear the debris, and do not turn to the left when there is a space. Believe me, nothing is there except Jugg, and you can't buy it at this time. Jump down and turn on the power.

Step 2:Get a gun from the mystery box. But, if you are on co op, Don't be a jerk and hog the dang box, ESPECIALLY if someone died. Think of the person that died. They will be left with a sucky pistol, and if you hit the box, after hogging it, there is about an 86% chance it will change spots.

Step 3: Don't be afraid to go through gaps, even small ones. Sometimes, its better to take small gaps.

Step 4:In co op, remember, It sometimes is best when you run instead of revive.

Step 5: If you get a good gun, do NOT get cocky. If you do, you gain so much confidence you try to do more daring stunts, and you lose, AND you get embarrased if your in co op, because you're like "Oh, i got a RAY GUN im so awesome" then afterwards you say "Umm... Not everyone is good haha...."

Step 5: If you ask me, Pack A Punch isn't worth it unless you have jugg and a good secondary wep. If you pack a punch, a bunch of zombies will run towards you, and if you dont have a good secondary weapon, you wont last to get the weapon you pack a punch, and, by the time someone revives you, it will be gone, forever.

Step 6:During dogs, this is VERY important, this goes for every map. When dogs, ALWAYS camp in a corner. If you run around or stand in the middle of an area, they can spawn behind you, come from all directions. If you run, they are WAY faster than you, so you wont get far.

Step 7:Do NOT buy a starter weapon. I should have mentioned this earlier. Just knife when in the beginning, and you should get enough points to go to mystery box.

Step 8: With Insta-Kill, Do NOT shoot your weapon unless they're are more than 2 zombies coming at you at once. Knife the stragglers/single zombies for way more money. Or, you can be risky and knife a horde, but that NEVER works unless you have jugg.

Step 9: BUY JUGG. It will be your lifesaver, your Mona Lisa, your... im running out of excuses already.....

i would also like to add that you should avoid using the wunderwaffe on this map specifically at all costs, because if you're too close to a zombie and you fire it off, it will shock you and you will lose all health regeneration for the rest of the game

To get the teleporters working, you have to activate the teleporter buy walking inside it and holding/pressing the use button, then run to the mainframe(where the pack a punch is at) and activate it the same way. Do the same to all three teleporters and PAP will unlock.

I usually buy the Double Barrel from the wall, it's a 1-shot until round 15 or some shit, I only hate it's small clip though.

i have basic strategy, first use only knife from round 1-2. sometimes i try to get 4000-5000 points to get enough to buy jugg and enough to use the random box one or 2 times or buy a shotgun, because its very effective against dogs one shoot on both zombies and dogs. but not forever of course. the higher round more harder they gonna hit you maybe 5-7 hits. and i recommend that you always keep runing DO NOT STAY ON THE CATWALK ONLY FOR SOME SECONDS UNTIL THE ZOMBIES COMES UP THE STAIRS. thats how you survive its a easy plan. you welcome to comment or like. AND REMEMBER ALWAYS PACK A PUNCH YOUR WEAPON IF YOU HAVE A SHOTGUN OR SUBMACHINE GUN.
