LRT Network

First of all, make sure you are familiar with the amazing LRT - Tram - Network from clus! Also all props of this asset goes 100% to him.

Good to know
  • The asset will almost take no space, because the grass is generated with the alpha map and it doesn´t come with any new textures.
  • There is NO pedestrian path and also NO possibility to place a tram station. Please use the basic set from clus which is linked in the necessary assets.
  • I took the leafy tend tree from pdelmo, but feel free to use every tree you want
  • As default, the distance between the trees is 20, but if you want to have the full avenue experience I recommend 10 :) Feel free do edit it as well with Network Skins

@sotrax @Marsuli @jakan1604 @Warner: Infrastructurist used this asset in his "Coniferia"-series. As far as I figured out in Ep. 23 you have to use the "sinking tram road" from clus. It is a whole set of tram roads, not only the sinking one. The roads with nodes can be used for stations. So you can use this avenue and put a tram road from clus` sinking tram road set where you want to place a station.

What mod do you use for the stations since you cant by default place stations on the road

What road can I use to create stops that also fits nicely with this one?

This road sometimes glitches out when using a node controller or BOB. The connection point where it creates a junction turns into a blue triangle. Sometimes connects just fine without creating a blue hole. (Didn't start having this junction issue until P&P update)

Any tips on which roads to combine this with if you want stops on the same road?

This doesn't connect properly with other roads. Blue void.

so, cant seem to get this to work with trams?

Found this explanation from Clus on those blue voids as not avoidable. Indeed the must have of vanilla traffic lights is a feature here:

"My walkarround for that problem was to choose the need for a traffic light to trigger the node, which will close the hole/gap at the junction/transition (where it is needed). That way it will prevent the same node from appearing at the connection between the main segment and the nodeless segment.

The downside of that solution is shown in the second picture. If there is no
traffic light, then there is no Node. :/
If you want to connect the road to a small road you have to activate traffic lights to trigger the node."

It is definitely good to know some "good to know"s before even subscribing to a new asset. For example, this one.
