After a decisive victory at Helsin and a well-orchestrated slate wipe at Bulkhov Port, the Thesian Chain of Command has finally found a breakthrough point. The small border town of Lochan, located in the southwestern region of Virskaia, is known throughout the world as a large trade hub and mining conglomerate; it's small, quaint, and not particularly defendable. Perfect choice for a spearhead approach. The Secretary of the Army has elected to send the Thesian 50th Mountaineers Infantry, with supporting detachments from the 18th Combat Air Wing and the 1st Armored Corps, to smash the Virskaian resistance in the local region and deploy a defensive garrison in the town from which to plan further pushes into Virskaian territory.

However, the Virskaian URI, better known as the Office of Wartime Intelligence, have seen this coming. The attack at Helsin, the siege of Bulkhov Port... it makes too much sense to push near Lochan. Thus, a request was sent up the chain of command, and the Virskaian 11th Motor Infantry accompanied by the 2nd Flight School Wing were rapidly deployed to set up defenses and evacuate civilians. The soldiers in Lochan have put their faith in themselves and their weapons, for the engines over the hills just keep getting louder... yet perhaps the actions of individual men could change the course of history forever.
