This Add-on has been Discontinued and may no longer work

The Overwatch Standard Issue Pulse Rifle, designed for VR.

Requires VRMod to work and will only work in VR.

Now with Real Mags that need hl2 AR2 ammo

You must configure these settings in the VRMod options:
-Enable "Alternative scale"
-Enable "Finger tracking"
-Disable "Use weapon worldmodels"

For best result, use a playermodel with modeled fingers.

Controls:
Toggle safety - Secondary fire (Hold and release)
Eject magazine - Secondary fire (Click)
Spawn magazine - Hold reload and press trigger

Note:
Mags despawn after 1 minute to prevent lag
This is a heavily modified version of Catse Vr Pistol
The Alt Fire isnt implemented jet

We will be looking to this since the arcvr stopped updating their base. The fix also does not seem to do jackshit at least for me. Thank you for providing this.

The vr ar2 is a hevely modified vr pistol by catse if I would publich a frame work for vr guns I would completely rip of catse

I don't think that anyone asked this yet, but i think it would be cool if you developed a way to simplify developing VR weapons, because that would open a new way for people to implement their favorite weapons, if not, then you do you, i'm just a stranger online, not your dad lmao.

I feel like these mods are a bit of a step in the wrong way for gmod VR, the best method for doing this kind of thing would most likely be by using the pre-existing game and modded weapon rigs and altering their function in VR, most gun reload animations work through a skinning of a mag to a bone, which follows the characters hand. It would be more optimal to merge this bone to the VR hand and calculate the distance to its parent (or original position in the gun) to snap it into position when a user "inserts" the magazine. I'm not saying this needs to be done but it seems like Re-making every gun mod ever for VR is gonna be a hellish task.
