Summary

I have put my mouse cursor on top of every egg in the screenshot so if you find the explantions difficult to understand, you can enlarge the screenshot and look for the cursor. Also unlike Chaos of Deponia, you HAVE to visit all 15 locations to complete the collection. You cannot farm all the eggs by saving and loading in one spot. You can however load a past game to visit a place you missed which means you do not need to collect all the eggs in one sitting.

Chapter 1

#8 Long hair Platypus

- The egg is in the middle of the screen outside of the hotel, left to the door leading to the rooms.

#9 Dwarf Platypus

- The egg is on top of the coffee machine in the hotel dining room.

#7 Wooly Platypus

- The egg is on the left side of the largest washing machine in the laundry.

#11 Snow Platypus

- The egg is in the bottom-left corner on the map where you meet the pelican in the dumpster.

Chapter 2

#14 Clown Platypus

- The egg is hidden in the wall right next to the entrance where you came in after solving the camera puzzle.

Chapter 3

#4 Fire Platypus

- The egg can be seen on the upper-left corner once you light up the room with the Yin-Yang symbol in the tutorial room.

#13 Pot-bellied Platypus

- The egg is inside the food stand next to the salt shaker.

#1 Earth Platypus

- The egg is on the upper-right corner next to the fan.

#6 Vampire Platypus

- The egg is inside the pipe on the bottom-left corner.

Chapter 4

#3 Water Platypus

- The egg is located a bit to the right from the middle of the screen where you first meet the lost kids in the sewers.

#12 Poison-Dart Platypus

- The egg is hidden left to the pipe located on the bottom-right corner. First screen of Rufus #3.

#10 Naked Platypus

- The egg is on the upper-left corner on the burrito-wrap stand map.

#15 Mimicri Platypus

- The egg is hidden between the tree branches left to the mushroom in the middle.

#5 Swamp Platypus

- The egg is inside the hole of a tree on the upper-left corner in the swamp beast map.

#2 Flying Platypus

- The egg is hidden beneath the planks on the bottom-left part of the screen in the map where you have to save Baby Bozo.

Edit to my earlier comment: On console you can't get the Water Platypus egg until much later in Chapter 5 when you're allowed onto the upper walkway of the sewer. I hate that we don't have cursors on console.

Does anyone playing this on console know how to grab the Water Platypus egg in the sewer? No matter where I stand I can't seem to get the option to select the egg to show up.

Speedrunned the game while collecting the eggs after deleting profile.dat (with sync still off). I got the achievement

I just turned off steam sync and moved my profile.dat somewhere else temporarily in hopes that the egg progress would be reset, and it was, then upon loading up a save which has 3 more eggs to collect (the last three, #15, #5, and #2) in the playthrough, the field guide got populated except the last one those 3 as expected but after collecting all three, and therefore filling up the guide, the achievement still didn't pop up. Help?

I've collected all 15, even my field guide shows all 15 of them, but I still didn't get the achievement
