So you're playing a game, you need units at a certain area so you select what you want then place them on the map. 10 seconds later they spawn in at the closest spawn point, which also happens to be heavily guarded by your opponent, and everything you ordered gets shot to pieces.

We've all done it. We'll all do it again. Luckily there is an easy solution whereby you can still place the units where you want them to show up but have them arrive from a different spawn.

In this example I have two zones under control: Echo and Golf.


Let's pretend I want to spawn 2 tanks and have them stop at India but I don't want them to come from Golf, which would be the default spawn point because it is the nearer to India than Echo is.

All you have to do is click on the tanks and drop them into Echo. When you do this, you should see Echo flash white. This means those tanks will now spawn from Echo.


Once it's flashed white, Hold down left click on the tanks and drag them into the position you want them to stop at in India. They will now spawn from Echo and drive up to position in India.


Infact, you can place your units anywhere, even if I placed them in Golf after Echo had flashed white they would still spawn from Echo then travel to Golf. Obviously if you don't want them to do that, right clcik on the units before they spawn to disband the order.

So now you don't have to spawn units near the sector you want them to spawn in, wait for them to arrive and then order them forward, you can just choose their spawn point and move them to the correct battlefield position.
