MAP BACKGROUND :

“After the disastrous defeat at the Battle of Karmaine Beach, Vulcan armies have been in full retreat for weeks on end. Außeten commanders have taken full advantage of this, and have spearheaded deep through the Seit Forest. The sparsely populated forest is home to a few minor towns, and numerous farms. Due to hasty retreat, Vulcan forces have unknowingly abandoned the valuable Stersen Airfield. Home to numerous VSU-3.A5 Drone Bombers, the airfield is vital key in Vulcan attempts to regain air superiority. Vulcan high command has directed for a full counterattack againist Außeten forces in the region, and the retaking of the the Stersen Airfield. A counterattack has been expected for days now by Außeten officers, and paratroopers have been kept on standby, ready to deploy at a moments notice. With the town of Wourstenburg in the west, and the Stersen Airfield in the east, the outcomes of this battle will be far-reaching, and may change the course of the entire war.”
