cHUD, or color HUD, is a mod that adds color to many of Isaac's interfaces. Always know what items you picked up, or what it was that killed you! It also introduces a much more informative character select screen, complete with many colors!


This mod is only compatible with Afterbirth+. In time I will release a stand-alone mod that works for Repentance.

Changelog:

• Prologue and Epilogue colored in.
  
  
• All save drawings colored in.
  
  
• Integrated Eye_Sakk's Character Portraits and Accurate Character Stats into the character select screen, plus tweaked many of the colors on said screen.
  
  
• All held item sprites have been colored in.
  
  
• All “killed by” sprites have been colored in.
  
  
• Some of the "killed by" sprites have been merged with multiple enemies due to them sharing portraits. (Ex. Boil and Gut share a sprite so the sprite is both red and green to reflect that.) Note: Using Customizable Death Screen makes the Items tab in Stats invisible, so I have decided not to use it as it will just create another problem.
  
  
• Completion note marks have been recolored and moved around to make more sense.
  
  
• The main menu was colored in.
  
  
• The extra stats on the side of the screen reflect their new colors on the character select.
  
  
• The pause screen stats are now colored.
  
  
• The ending screen is color coded to help you find the ending you're looking for (ex. 1-11 is red because they are all from beating Mom's Heart).
  
  
• File select screen has had some extra color splashed on it.
  
  
• The "Best Streak" on the Stats screen now matches the color of the other stats.
  
  
• The options menus now fit all the options on the screen.
  
  
• The difficulty widget on the character select now has colors.
  
  
• Mod support for Fiend Folio's bestiary enemy/boss sprites, and Revelations' item sprites-- and it works seamlessly! (Can't implement support for character select, sorry!)
  
  
• The place where you died on your death diary is now colored. Undid this change entirely. Looked bad.
  
  
• Possibly more I'm forgetting.

Planned Changes:

Repentance support once it’s out. Will be released as a new mod.
To elaborate on this, I'll be introducing a bunch of new polish as well as the expected support accompanying the new items, enemies, bosses, and cutscenes. In other words... I'll be changing some fundamental components of the mod's style, hopefully for the better.
