Want your carriers to hang back and let the strike craft do the work? Want more specialized fighters, strike craft, and bombers? This mod enhances carrier action with carrier radar, carrier combat computers, and advanced strike craft. It also contains the carrier focused tech and ship sections that are in At War: Advanced Ship Sections to give you everything you need to have a carrier focused navy.

Fully compatible with At War: Advanced Ship Sections and all other At War mods.

Features
  • Carrier Radar component (PD slot) that allows strike craft to launch at 400 distance.
  • Combat Fighters - 3 levels using the existing strike craft technologies
  • Autocannon Strike Craft - 3 levels unlocked with the appropriate autocannon technology and strike craft technology
  • Disruptor Strike Craft - 3 levels unlocked with the appropriate disruptor technology and strike craft technology
  • Null Void Strike Craft - 1 level unlocked with null void and strike craft 3
  • Plasma Strike Craft - 3 levels unlocked with the appropriate plasma technology and strike craft technology
  • Proton and Neutron Bombers -2 levels unlocked with the appropriate energy torpedo technology and strike craft 2 and 3.
  • Light Carrier Cruiser Designs: Engineering tech that unlocks new cruiser ship sections for building light carrier-dedicated cruisers.
  • Advanced Carrier Designs: Engineering tech that unlocks new battleship ship sections for building carrier-dedicated battleships and titans.
  • Advanced, Sapient, and Precognitive artillery combat computers for carriers that keeps them at max range (400).
  • Combat computers support New Ship Classes & More (NSC) and Space Combat Expanded (SCX) ship classes.

Compatibility
No vanilla files were harmed in making this mod. Works fine with At War: Advanced Ship Sections.
Compatible with Stellaris v2.2.* (Le Guin)

Today's update breaks carrier platforms. They are listed in-game but provide no hanger slots. :(

Welp, looks like this mod will be outdated when 2.6 hits: it adds a 'carrier' combat computer, buffs strike craft power and range, etc.

@The Dadinator, just had a starbase outfitted with nothing but fighter garrisons defeat itself in combat. Every fighter that the base launched turned around and started attacking the base. The enemy fleet attacking my starbase had no fighter capacity at all, and I could clearly see the fighters attacking the starbase, and the damage output readout showed the station taking fighter damage. This is the only mod I'm running that should have anything to do with carrier/fighter mechanics, do you have any idea's what might have caused this?

I'm having a weird issue where I have the tech for new fighters but only the tier 1s are showing up

understandable i just like to play with ship mods that add a dedicated carrier class but it makes them feel redundant when the battle ship sections totally out mach them for hangar space.
