SWARMRIDERS is an endless runner side scrolling twin stick shoot'em up mini-game.

Movement is handled with the WASD keys, aiming (moving the crosshair) is done with the mouse and as for shooting, this is automatic (you auto-fire and have no control over the weapon other than aiming).

To 100% the game all you need to do is survive for 150 seconds, which is easier said than done, the best advice I can offer for attaining this is to move over to the far middle right of the screen and to keep the crosshair close to you.

Move the crosshair up and down in quick succession so that you spray your fire in an arc of about 100 to 120 degrees. From time to time a critter will make it through your hail of bullets, quite likely going off screen, when this happens, keep a mental note of how many there were and whether they went off screen at the top or bottom.

I wouldn't advise trying to shoot at what you cannot see, simply wait for them to reappear back on screen, which will be very near you and react when they do, preferably without moving. If you try to go shooting at them while they are off screen this will allow the swarm to gain pace on you quite quickly which will lead to you being overwhelmed.

You have a shield which starts the game at 100% and for each critter that touches you, you will lose 15% of your shield, after the 6th critter hits you, your shield will be at to 10% and the 7th hit will kill you and as you only have 1 life, it will mean the end of your game.

Persistence is the key to earning 100% achievements SWARMRIDERS, with each attempt you will survive a little longer, sure there will be the occasional blip where you mess up, but you will get better over time. I would advise 100%'ing SWARMRIDERS in one sitting, don't give up in frustration, persist and within 20~30 minutes you will be rewarded for your efforts.

It took me about 20 minutes to earn all the achievements, it would have taken me longer, or maybe less as if I got hit so much as once within the first 30 seconds after my first few plays, I quit and restarted.

The only other advice I can offer is that a mouse DPI of 3200 is what I found optimal for playing SWARMRIDERS and earning 100% of the achievements.

SWARMRIDERS has a total of 4 Steam achievements.

1. SWARMCARVER is earned for surviving for 60 seconds.
2. GORESURFER is earned for surviving for 100 seconds.
3. DOOMRIDER is earned for surviving for 120 seconds.
4. S+ is earned for surviving for 150 seconds.
