Opis
This mod extend the ability to choose the bonus you receive from 'Ancient ruins' to Scouts from all civilizations.

Accordingly, The Shoshone Pathfinder receive New free promotions instead: Scouting I-II



Features:
  • Make the ability to choose the bonus you receive when you find an Ancient ruins available to all civilization's scouts.

  • Change the free promotion that the shoshone Pathfinder receives to Scouting I-II.

  • This change is reflected in Civilopedia (see screenshot).

Notes:
  • I strongly recommend using all the three Scouts mod for the full experience (BNW users):
    Choosing Ancients Ruin bonus is a new Game Mechanic in Brave New World. A pop-up menu appears and you may choose from a list of available bonus from the ruin.

  • Requires Brave New World Expansion

  • If you have a problem with a mod, the first step is always to test the mod alone before reporting any bugs.
  • All mods from all my collections are compatible together.
  • If you have troubles downloading the mod in game, it's a common cache issue, follow these steps to fix it:
    1) Unsubscribe The mod, exit steam and civ 5 completly
    2) empty your mod folder : C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR USERNAME]\My documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS
    3) Delete the 'Civ5ModsDatabase.db' file located at: C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR USERNAME]\My documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache
    4) Restart steam, subscribe, restart civ 5.

Mod is fully working for base game.

But it doesnt working(do nothing) with total game rebalance mod - Vox Populi, to add there 'Ruins choice' need manually add new line at their UnitChanges2.sql and disable This mod (balance)

So I had a scout with Scouting 3 (+1 movement) and altitude training from Mount Kilimanjaro (bonus movement on hills), and I managed to scoop up 2 ancient ruins in one move, but the window to choose outcome only appeared once.
Seeing as this mod just grants the Native Tongue to all scouts, this probably isn't a bug with the mod, but just wanted to make it known that one should be careful - even though it is a fringe case as it requires those two conditions to be possible.

Love the mod otherwise. If I wanted an improvement on the "Study their tools to discover a new technology", make it a "spy steal tech" choice instead? That'd make it possible to select the technology instead of it being RNG.
