Changing Your Refresh Rate
1) Right click on your desktop and select Screen Resolution from the menu
2) Click on the option Advanced Settings
3) Click on the Monitor tab and under Screen refresh rate: change it to 60 Hertz
4) Click Apply and click Yes on the pop-up that asks Do you want to keep these display settings?

These steps are mainly for Windows 7 and may vary on different versions of Windows.

You can also use RivaTuner to limit your FPS on certain programs if you don't want to adjust your whole monitor's settings profile.

I tried everything and I have a Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti. Running on Windows 10, Why is it when I changed it to 60Hz the game runs at 30 FPS and slow and unresponsive as all hell?!

So your telling me it's impossible to play Space Channel 5 Part two in 60fps... despite it being a 15+ year old game... SMH -_-

I think the game is fine, so long as you configure it to match your monitor in the configuration menu. It doesn't seem like my game is running at 4x speed or anything whilst I play in 240hz (unless the characters aren't meant to be moving that quickly in the main menu screen)

well shit, my monitor won't let me go below 120hz

you can temporarily set those values using nircmd with the command: nircmd setdisplay 1920 1080 8 60, where 1920 and 1080 you need to change to your monitor's resolution.

The game is meant to run at 30 FPS and it does this by halving taking the value of the refresh rate, which should be set to 60 Hz. If the refresh rate is set any higher than 60 Hz the game will play too fast.

That doesn't fix the issue, The point is I want to play at a higher refresh rate, not 60FPS. I thought this was a fix to run the game properly at 120 or 144 FPS
