Playing a game in 4:3 sucks especially when it's as good a game as Academy, so here's the most convenient fix for whatever resolution you want.

I created this guide because another guide on here makes you download an executable which is rediculous and might not be safe

another guide just has you input the changes into the in game console but this is an annoying fix because you have to do it every time you launch the game

in contrast, this fix requires NO download and only easy text editing that anyone who has simple knowledge of file management can do. Also this fix is permanent, so once you do this your game will always start up in widescreen unless you change it again.

This will probably only work for 16:9 or thinner monitors and maybe 16:10 but no wider or super high DPI otherwise camera will be too zoomed in.
