Someone claimed turning off your monitor while the game is launching should work.
No idea why this happens but it's a thing even with the original 2009 PC port, unless you used the DX10 version specifically.
If it turns out this is what's affecting you, I've never seen anyone with the issue try dxvk, in case you wanna give it a shot.
If you want to uninstall the patch after this, make sure you delete dinput8 and the plugins folder on top of verifying your game files to get rid of the wrong version message (or just do a clean install, which involves manually deleting any leftover files before reinstalling)
I can't test gyro myself but I will probably add a toggle in an .ini file to force specific changes that should hopefully make it feel more seamless.

Just make sure to change it to QOL.asi or ResidentEvil5.FusionFix.dll and you're good
