To that note, I propose another category of ship class: The Corvette.
The Corvette-class is an escort vessel for your heavy weapons ships such as your Sky Battleships. Modest armor and mobility, but emphasis is placed on the anti-fighter capability by equipping it with numerous small arms weapons.
With the protection offered from the Corvettes, your warships are much less vulnerable to the devastating punch of the torpedo plane and bombers.
HMS Suspender: Aerocarrier (HEAVY)
HMS Invictus: Troop Transport Ship
HMS Parlement: Sky Battleship
HMS Rhino: Bomber
HMS Dart: Destroyer
HMS Planerunner: Aerocarrier (LIGHT)
