After playing around in some private matches, I discovered a method to shoot through any stationary flat surface (floors, walls, and a few other objects) that works with most guns, but not all.

This game may not look 3d, but it is infact a 3d Unity game with some very well made toon shading. A sense of depth is noticeable when guns are spinning, or when limbs can appear smaller as you jump around and the joints bend. This is important to know to pull this off.

To perform this trick, you must line up the very end of a gun (wherever the bullet comes out of the gun) with a flat surface. Once you have done this, shooting a bullet will send it flying through the object, hitting any enemies on the other side.



Some issues may become apparent with a few guns.

1. Guns too long to point directly to the ground
Some guns are too long for you to point directly at the ground, and if you do get it pointing straight
down, it will actually be pointing slightly to the side along the z axis that is very hard to notice,
so these guns can not be used to shoot downards through platforms. This is still possible to perform using these guns on vertical walls, though. Line them up on a vertical wall with enough space, and you can still use these guns to shoot through walls.

2. Guns too short to point directly to the ground
Some guns are too short to point at the ground while standing. A workaround is to time your crouches by tapping your down key and shooting right as the gun makes contact with the ground.

3. Specific weapons projectiles that this does not work with
Some types of projectiles will not work when trying this no matter what you do. These include both the grenade and snake grenade launchers, the lava spray gun, the snake canons (not the snake pistol), and the Rocket Launcher.

4. Weapon recoil
This is especially apparent in pistols and automatic firing weapons such as the laser rifle. To counteract this, just make sure to tap fire on these weapons.

5. Ice platforms
Ice platforms will not work for the most part using this trick, as the ice breaks as soon as any projectile touches it, although in certain situations when ice breaks and still remains a solid platform (sort of like cracked ice), this method does work.

What do you guys think of this? Should it be patched?
I personally don't believe it should be patched, as it is not that easy to pull off accurate shots when shooting through the walls because of how precisely you have to line it up with the wall. It also provides a nice counterstrategy to those who are camping around walls, or when people are in closed off areas (such as being surrounded by boxes or broken ice).
