The first secret is in the fountain once you enter the hotel. Jump in the fountain, break through the glass that's under water, and surface. You will be staring at a water fall and it will unlock the first secret. You can also get a pineapple here (pipebombs)



In the "Island Gift Shop", if you use the cash register you will open up a secret wall with "pearl health" in it, which is basically atomic health, and the second secret.



At the pool side, next to the "tanning lady" you will see a Cola Machine. Use it to open the nearby secret which lowers the table and chairs. Grab a box of pineapples and the third secret.



At the end of the hallway in the hotel you will find a rounded glass section. From this glass you can jump onto a very hidden ledge outside, this jump is pretty hard to do so I'd suggest saving before doing the jump and just reloading so you don't constantly loose health. Once up on the ledge follow it down into the hidden hotel room to grab secret 4 and a box of bananas (medkit).



Back outside, right before you grab the blue "Vista card" you'll see a vent that holds the coconut launcher (RPG), behind the vent, up against the wall is a button. If you push it, it will reveal a secret door just around the corner. Head in there for secret 5 and another coconut launcher.



Behind the bar, in the... bar.... use the right wine rack to uncover the sixth secret and some sunglasses... duke always needs more sunglasses.



In the karoke section of the bar, use the floor behind the microphone to lower it. Grab the ice-crusher and secret 7.



At the bottom section of the bar (with all the octobrains and eggs), duck under the right phone booth to open the panel on the right side of it. Head in for secret 8.



As you are exiting the bar you can grab secret 9. Once you've ridden the elevator back up, break the window to the left and jump through. You'll fall into a water section that bleeds into the bar section of the map. If you are careful, you can duck out of the waterfall and jump onto the catwalk portion to a switch that unlocks secret 9.

Right at the start, after the bus crashes into your cell, you'll want to turn left into the alleyway. Blow a hole where the crack is to get to the side of the building and the first secret of the level.



As you exit through the red curtain and into the street you'll be looking at a multistory building. You can jump through the window in screenshot 1 to uncover secret 2.



In a box room within the Asian market you'll find that you can jump on a stack of two boxes to get to the stack of three. On top of the stack of three boxes is a button that opens a nearby secret wall and the atomic health.



In the concert area, up top (where you get the red Vista card), if you look across the concert you'll see a button on the far wall. Shoot the button to open a nearby door and secret 4.



Behind the boat, under the stairs, is a secret door. Use it to reveal the secret and another atomic health.



Ignore the boat for now, head up the stairs and open the door. This will take us back to the beginning of the level. If you use the "concert poster" in the store here, it will open up another concert poster right outside the store. This will reveal a larger area and within it will be secret 6.



This secret is in the fish market you unlocked in Secret 5. Inside you'll find a pool of water, jump in the water swim to the bottom and submerge a little further up. You'll find a bunch of goodies and the seventh secret.



The secret level isn't actually a secret, but I thought I'd include it anyway since it's the next level of this guide. You can access the secret level from the previously mentioned fish market. In one of the side rooms you'll see a stall with some orange stuff? Jump into the orange stuff and fall into a sewer, there you'll see the exit to the secret level.

Sorry no secrets on the "secret level". Which is kinda strange because there are plenty of areas that would probably be considered a secret, however none of them actually count towards secrets. Seems like an oversight to me. Anywho... carry on!

Right at the start, after you enter the park, you'll come across a fountain with a mural over top. Jump into the fountain and blow up the wall in the corner. Inside will be the first secret. Be sure to surface inside the blown up section, or you won't get the secret.



On the "Tadpole" ride, you'll first enter a red room however you can't get up on the ledges yet. Wait until you get around to entering the control area of the ride and you'll be able to jump up on the ledges of the red area. In between the pillars on the far side is a wall you can walk through for secret 2.



At the bottom of the spiral staircase you'll be in a "box room". On one of the boxes is a bloody handprint. Use the handprint to lower the box and enter the vent. This vent will lead you to another atomic health.



On the log-flume, after the big drop, immediately on the left you can jump through the slits in the wall into secret 4. Secret 5 is exactly the same on the other side. You need to act quick for this secret as the water runs pretty fast. Otherwise you'll have to try to jump back, or ride the flume all the way around again.

In the hallway that connects to all the rooms on the lower section of the ship you'll find a snack machine. Use the snack machine to open a nearby door which contains the first secret.



In yet another box room, you'll find a section with a bunch of boxes you can jump on top of (about mid way through the room -- see screenshot 1). At the top of the stack is a button which will bring down some boxes and reveal secret 2.



After getting the blue key a light panel will open in the blue room. Head through the panel to claim an atomic health and secret 3



After exiting from the power station room and back into the box room, turn immediately left and you'll see that some boxes have risen and uncovered secret 4.



Again in the box room, almost the same location as secret four, you'll see a larger box sitting in the corner. You can jump into this box to claim secret 5.

After pushing down the yellow pyramid and starting the earthquake, cross the gap again and look to the right. You will notice a little ledge to the side of the green brick. Jump down and it'll lead you to secret 1.



Once you get in the aztec ruin, in the red room where the ceiling is coming down, crouch on either side of the wall and use the "Battlelord logo" on either side. A panel will open behind some fire. Jump through and grab the second secret and some atomic health.



Once you drop into the rushing water, head upstream towards the giant waterfall. Behind the waterfall is the third secret.

The first secret of the level is very easy to miss. Once you take a dip in the nearby pool at the start you'll find a rock blocking a secret passage at the end of the underwater cave. Shoot the rock and surface behind it to uncover secret 1.



This secret is similiar to the first, once you reach the underwater lake with the pillars you need to jump across, jump in and blow open the wooden wall. Inside, when you surface, you'll receive secret 2.



Once you come out from the underwater cave system, you'll see some rocks and a tree. Blow up the tree so it's just the stump, behind it you will see a small opening in the wall. Use the rocks (and the tree stump) to jump your way into the opening and into secret 3.



Climb ontop of the waterfall in secret 3 to make your way to another narrow stream. Almost immediately you'll find a bloody handprint on the wall (left side of screenshot 1). Use the handprint to open a nearby wall and secret 4.



Right after the "blue door" you'll come across a makeshift hideout. Shoot open the stained glass window to uncover a switch which opens the nearby bookshelf and secret 5.



Right after you "release" the waterfall (shortly after the blue door) you'll come to another wooden door. Instead of heading right towards the map progression, jump left onto the ledge (so now you are standing ontop of the waterfall). This is secret 6, sometimes it doesn't trigger though so run across the ledge a bit until you get the message.



Right before crossing the long wooden bridge, look right to find a small ledge you can drop into. Head in there to grab an atomic health and the seventh secret. Also there is a really long elevator that will take you to the bottom of this area.



Ride the elevator (from secret 7) down to the bottom of the area. Jump into the pool of water that is there and snake your way through the underwater cave to surface on the other side. There you'll find the eight secret and a message from one of the mappers.



After you unlock the door (after the bridge) you'll get to an area that resembles a shrine of sorts. Jump up on the ledge and use the discoloured wall to unlock secret 9.

In order to access this area you will need to blow open the wall across from the red/blue door with the two sewer pipes coming down. From here you can jump into the left pipe. When you surface in the big cavern you'll see a switch on one of the rock pillars (screenshot 1). Flip the switch to open the big door on the other side of the cavern (screenshot 2). Use the rock formations to jump across and claim secret 1.



This secret is right before the multiple switches (with the shapes). Find the door that's open just a little bit... you'll see a button on the floor next to it. Hit the button to activate a nearby shrink device. Shrink yourself to get under the door and into secret 2.



Right before the fast moving escalator (in the basement section), you'll find some green boxes. Jump into the one on the left to find a button, then climb the ones on the right to hit another button. You will notice some more boxes on the left side go down and reveal secret 3.



A two in one secret! Right before the boss door turn around and use the panel on the wall facing it. You'll uncover a secret with a RPG, use the back wall again, to uncover the fifth and final secret!
