AotR is a complete overhaul mod for Forces of Corruption. Inspired by the old RTS, Star Wars: Rebellion, AotR adds many features from this game and other titles, including a more in-depth mission system, tech system, and many new units! We are proud to present improved tactical combat in space, ground and galactic combat, and have also substantially improved upon the graphics of the base game. Immerse yourself in the Galactic Civil War era as the fledgling Rebellion, the oppressive Empire, or the opportunistic Black Sun pirates. This mod is not for the faint of heart and will test your RTS skills with a completely overhauled AI and set of difficulty levels.

Hey, just wondering if the standard 2 planet starts are supposed to have all tech unlocked from the beginning?

Hey, absolutely incredible work with the mod, I just wanted to vent my personal gripes from the empire campaign I've been playing recently. I think the planetary turbolaser could do with some toning down, the 1st time I tried to take Brentaal IV it was able to 3 shot Vader, which I thought was perhaps a little strong, then later I was able to use the one on Kuat to one shot multiple Rebel heroes in a battle that I should have by all rights lost.

My only other gripe is that some of the ground maps are too small for ground aircraft like rogue squadron or the field commander's TIEs. I try to keep them out of the range of flak and the like, but their idling circles are so wide they keep aggro-ing on enemy units and exposing themselves to fire. it'd be nice if there were a way to have them land again like how they do when they first deploy. Keep up the good work though, loving the campaigns I've played so far.

@Zwamba, you could try asking on our discord if you liked.
@oakinnusotu, next update will rework heroes and add lots more. Please play a faction before you make suggestions for it though. Not sure where you've seen the Empire described as harder, its often the easiest for new players.

I think it would be a cool idea to add generals in the empire that give discounts to certain ships. For example maybe a moff gives a discount to refit ISD with better fighter and bomber compliments like dodonna does with a wings for the rebellion. I dont play as the empire but im considering it since ive seen so many comments saying its much harder. I would also suggest playing the venator refit mod for this game since it adds buildable venators for all factions which makes the fighter battles a lot more intense.

echo4609 I don't know if you have ever played as the rebellion on expert but the empire spams ton fak carriers so I think the addition of the quasars would just be a little too much for the empire. They already have carrier gunships that are fit with bombers and fighters along with there later capital ships having better quality fighters and interceptors with the addition of another carrier I feel like the empire would be at too much of an advantage against the rebels in space since its already hard for rebel capital ships to beat ISD. Maybe there stations should come with more fighters or make their individual squadrons are bigger than that of the rebellion.

Question is it possible for you to add to the tech tree a list of what planets can build special units for empire rebels or blacksuns and what planet they need for them you know like in Aotr?

I'm not sure what you're asking? Minor factions can and will attack you if that's what you're saying.
