You progress by killing waves of monster. At the end of each wave appears a boss.
If you can't kill him within a limited time (blue bar), you will set into a loop with the latest monster you've defeated. You can try it again by click on the "boss" button.
There is a chest drop every minute you're playing the game, if you don't click on those chests and collect the content, they will disappear after a few seconds.
In those chests is gold (amount depends on the tier of wave!!!), gems or scrolls.
Sometimes they're empty.
To get all achievements you have to hire helpers.
You can hire a helper with gold. The more units you hire, the higher the damage they do.
Hiring the next tier of helper is far more effective but also more expensive.
You can upgrade your main character using gold.
Gems are used for perks.
With scrolls you can unlock and upgrade artifacts.

The menu bar in the upper lefthand corner is divided into four main groups:

[Hero] [Helper] [Artifacts] [Perks]

Here you can upgrade your main character,
buy abilities, choose costumes or execute "Evolution".
Evolution is some kind of reset that sets back the game and gives you additional scrolls,
how many you get depends on the tier of wave you're in.
You keep your gems, scrolls and artifacts, but your progress and gold is gone.

You get an achievement for every kind of helper you hire.
Later in the game, when you have some gold to spare, you should upgrade the helpers
with "increase all hero damage x3" bonus. Read the info on helper to see who has it.
The bonus is stackable and will have huge effect in battle.

Collect scrolls to unlock all five of them.
You can upgrade your artifacts by spending more scrolls.
Scrolls can be obtained through chest looting or doing the "evolution" (this will reset your progress) in the hero menu.

You need gems to use perks. Gems can be collected by looting chests only and are particularly rare.

About this game
This game is an active clicker without off-line idling function.
It stops if minimized, closed or runs in background.
Progress will be saved if you close the game.

Facts you should consider while playing this game.
Looting chests always gives you more gold than killing foes.
Hiring one helper is cheaper than upgrading your hero, to deal comparable damage.
Autoclickers are hardly of any use.

Secrets ?
You get the achievements by clicking on the helpers, even if you can't afford hiring them.
This includes the last achievement "Assassin", click on it as soon as you hired the dwarf.

...or better said, get all achievements.

Start playing.
Upgrade your hero just a little to progress to wave two.
Hire helpers if you can afford it.
Open treasure chests when they appear (this should be your first priority).
Hoard gems and scrolls.
Unlock all artifacts with your scrolls. You can get a lot if you reset the game with the "evolution" option.
When your progress slows down and you have no chance to beat the boss of a wave no matter what you do (should happen at wave 20-30), just click on the "kill monster" perk (costs 40 gems per use).
Don't waste it on normal monsters. If you have enough gems hoarded, you can wait it out or do something usefull while your helpers fight their way through the wave of monsters to the boss.
Don't be afraid, you can't die.
Repeat this until you have enough gold to hire the next helper.
Be sure to open the chests if you need more gems to use the "kill moster" perk.
The higher the tier of wave you're in, the more gold is in those chests.
Both, moster health-points and gold in chests, rise exponentially.
Keep opening chests every minute, to collect tons of gold, gems and scrolls.
If you have enough scrolls you should upgrade the "witch's potion" artifact, to cut the wave lenght to five monsters.
Keep doing this and eventually you can hire every helper.
Still takes time though, be patient and good luck.
