[WOTC] LW2 Utility Plating

This is a port of the Plating utility items from Long War 2. These utility items grant bonus ablative (Shield) hit points to the soldier. These hit points, once lost, cannot be regained for the remainder of the mission. Loss of albative HP does not increase wound time. Only one plating item can be equpped at a time. A soldier can equip both a vest and plating at the same time.


Ceramic Plating

• Grants 2 Shield
  
• XCOM begins the game with an unlimited supply

Alloy Plating

• Grants 3 Shield
  
• Must be purchased individually through Engineering
  
• XCOM must first research Alloy Plating in the foundry
  
• The foundry project requires that XCOM has researched Hybrid Materials and the Stunlancer Autopsy

Chitin Plating

• Grants 4 Shield
  
• Must be purchased individually through Engineering
  
• XCOM must first research Chitin Plating in the foundry
  
• The foundry project requires that XCOM has researched Hybrid Materials and the Chryssalid Autopsy

Carapace Plating

• Grants 5 Shield
  
• Must be purchased individually through Engineering
  
• XCOM must first research Carapace Plating in the foundry
  
• The foundry project requires that XCOM has researched Hybrid Materials and the Andromedon Autopsy

XComWOTC_LW2_Plating.ini contains values that can be changed to alter the ablative health granted by each plating, the black market sell values, the supply costs, and the Foundry costs.

Should be compatible with everything.

Anyone is free to use anything in this mod for any project they'd like, as long as credit is given and money is not involved.
