I found myself washed ashore on a strange island with no memory of how I got here, and yet other memories which did not even seem like they were my own. There were sharks in the water and wolves howling in the hills. I started with nothing, I crafted some primitive tools with items I found close around. I easily made stone tools and a pitchfork for protection, a sleeping hut and primitive fire.

As I began to explore, I found some abandoned houses with some strange information. The writings I found all refer to the surrounding islands as YLANDS. There are books and painting with familiar titles which I have no recollection of. I still could not remeber how I ended up here. Some writings spoke about strange abandoned tecnology that can be found and used to build devices and magic plants an potions. I sometimes can't tell if I'm dreaming or not.

Eventually I spent many days and nights exploring the surrounding ylands and thier caves which contain frightnening mutated creatures. These animals have become mutated by an element refered to in writings as ylandium. Mutated creatures are covered in the dust and there are yellow glowing ylandium crystals in the caves. There are many strange structures left behind but I have found very little evidence of other people. Even though I have not found anyone yet there is hope that others may use this information to discover even more about this strange sea and ylands. I will begin my long journey to find home soon but I have written all I have discovered so far.

Horses can become useful friends. Feed them and they become friendly you can ride them for a short time. Feed them too much and they'll become tame and attached. Its not good for them if you dont have the time for a pet.

You will need to build a pick, axe, hammer, saw, knife, chisel, shovel, spade, glass blowing pipe and needles for tools to collect materials and build. You can feed fires with wood, coal, or charcoal. Light fires with a flint lighter or a bow drill. Remember to wear an engineering helmet to be safe when you build structures. You will have better ideas knowing you are safe. Resources are collected from plants, trees, and the land. You can pick up plants or harvest them for seeds with an axe or sicle. Make sure you collect lots of seeds for replanting to farm food and resources. Look in and around abandoned structures. Most items can be creafted with resources found on your yland but if there is a resource that is not on your yland, you will have to build a raft or boat to look for them on nearby ylands. You can also build a flying machine to fly with the right resources. Here is a list of everything I have built so far. The workstations will allow you to craft many types of materials to build including straw, bamboo, wood, brick, stone, marble, and steel.
