ATK: 1200
DEF: 1500

The Beaver Warrior is a common monster card released in 1999 from the japanese Vol.3 booster pack. With below average attack but a stable defense for the start of a match, it's an okay card to set in Defense position while your opponent is working toward their bigger summons. But that defense can only last so long! So how does one protect their beaver? Here are a few ways even you can take care of your beaver.
Ways to Protect Your Beaver from Exposure
1: Equip it with Spell Cards!

Some continuous Spell Cards are compatible with your beaver. A few examples are:

Axe of Despair - Increases ATK by 1000
Horn of Light - Increases DEF by 800
Big Bang Attack Shot - Increases ATK by 400

Equip Spell Cards usually increase the targeted monster's ATK or DEF by a certain amount. These can increase the longevity of your beaver while it's exposed to your opponent.

2: Summon a higher ATK monster to defend it.

Say you're hiding your beaver from your opponents eye, and you have the opportunity to summon one monster while the opponent has his monsters in defensive position. A monster with a high ATK would provide a good bodyguard for your beaver. No one will get to your beaver if you got Summoned Skull protecting it.

3: Throw out a bait monster.

If it comes down to it and you can't attack the opponent within your turn, there's an option to throw out a dummy card in a set position. Your opponent will most likely be distracted by the unknown card and use his turn to attack that instead, leaving your beaver perfectly hidden while you draw for an attack. (not guaranteed to work)

4: Not showing your beaver at all!

Nobody can really make you expose your beaver in the first place. If you can, simply don't summon it at all! Your opponent will only see the backside and won't ever guess that you got your beaver hiding in your hand. You could probably say it's a Blue-Eyes White Dragon and scare him into forfeiting! (not guaranteed to work)

5: Forfeit!

Worst case scenario: ... You could always just forfeit the match. I mean, when you think about it; what's really important? One of what could be a thousand losses? Or your beaver? Sometimes it might not even be worth putting your beaver out for attack. If your opponent told you to go jump off a cliff, would you?

6: Don't have it in your deck.

I mean... Can't draw what you don't have, right?
Conclusion
Now that you understand the importance of protecting your beaver, with these tips I've given you; You should be ready to go out there and duel with your beaver! Maybe one day you'll become a famous duelist and everyone in the world will pay to come watch you take someone out with your beaver on stage!
