- hint: you may have to select some other potrait and then to the potrait in the new tab for existing species

Any advice on where to learn basic modding so I can change the Geth to an organic species? I really want to use them as Meklars in my MOO2 games!

Also, would it be possible to change the graphical culture for both the species to avian_01 located in the species class file. This should make it so the ship names for 'Mammalian Ships' and 'Humanoid Ships' isn't replaced anymore and made to say 'QUARIAN Ships' and 'GETH Ships' as they currently does in the ship selection appearance menu.

You should probably change the name of your species class name from '01_species_classes' to something else. The current name has a high chance of being used by another mod in the future because of its generic name and thus cause issues. What about 01_geth_and_quarian_species_classes or something?
