There's a lot to unpack when it comes to Frostpunk 2. As someone who love Frostpunk 1, this feels like a change of direction to the game. The city looks like an actualy city, there's population growth, factions and others to manage. The world map feels big, and you have to decide how much you want to expand in order to keep your city running.

Here's what others (as well as mine) concern about Frostpunk 2. Every death feels... cheep? In Frostpunk 1, every death matters, and you as the city leader watch people die on your one by one and it hurts. In Frostpunk 2 however... even if thousands died, you will find a way to increase the workforce thanks to the population growth mechanic that I mention. FP2 have the same concept and feels like in FP1, but it is a different game.

Don't get me wrong, I love both FP1 and FP2. Regardless of differences, it's still a good game.

If you're a FP fan, give this a try but please lower your expectation. It is not FP1 but upgraded, it's a different game.
If you're into city building with survivor element, give this a try as well!

As someone who plays a lot of rhythm games in my life (we're talking the OG Project DIVA, StepMania and of course Osu!), Muse Dash provided the fun and good jams while providing quite a challenging beatmaps to git gud at it. The majority of the map are easy to get into, but hard to master when it comes to Level 10 and above difficulties (personally).

Now, here are some of my personal experience that I have while playing Muse Dash since 2022:

- There are some occasional stuttering when playing high level beatmaps. Thankfully, as of me writing this review, it is significantly stable so kudos to the dev for optimising the game.

- Account syncing and singing up / login to Peropero net are a hot buggy mess. There are 2 versions to login; China and International login. I can't say for China version, but I can however can speak about the International version. Whenever you tried to enter your email and password, if your password is incorrect, it is time to relaunch the game because the login overlay borked for some reason. Not to mention that there are constant syncing issue with the main server when it comes to registering scores. It is to be believed that when Muse Dash - Just As Planned DLC is ending its service (we'll talk about that in a minute), there are a group of people attacking Peropero net and basically crashing the site. The dev still need to fix the server syncing issue, so I'm gonna wait and see.

- Let's talk about DLC pack. When you purchasing this game (the one that you're looking right now), you unlock basically a fraction of the available music available for you to play. If you purchased Muse Dash - Just As Planned back in the day (like I have in 2022 during sale), you are having a privilege to gain access to all Muse Dash content including future content after a backlash where the dev decided the player to login to Muse Dash when a new update is up and you have one week to get it before it will be gone forever. Now you are required to purchase seperate DLC (Miku DLC are now gone if I'm not mistaken) as well as Muse Plus. While I understand the frustration, Muse Plus are a great deal if you really wanna get into Muse Dash. There are over 500 songs, bunch of new characters and Elfin so with that price, personally it's a steal. The dev have to play the artist some royalty fee so keep that in mind. Plus you can also enjoy the same privilege as Just As Planned peep; all music packs, characters, elfin and future content for hopefully life as long as the dev keeps pumping content. In comparison, Cytus 2 have multiple different packs for your to buy separately. While it allow you to buy only the songs that you really like, what if there's only 1 song in that pack that you want? And you have 5 songs that you like and all of them are in a different pack? This is the reason why I didn't play Cytus 2 for a long time. Another great example is DJMAX Respect V. The base game (I'm using Malaysian currency here) is RM186. What about all of the DLC? A whopping RM2,800++

- Speaking of DLC and account syncing, if you brought the DLC on Steam, you cannot enjoy the same Muse Plus DLC on your mobile phone, even if you managed to sync with your account across multiple devices. Personally I wish that you are able to use that DLC on your separate devices for when you are on the go so that's something to keep in mind. If you decided to get the Muse Plus, please get it on the device that you often play.

Overall, great jam and another rhythm game that I personally enjoy and play occasionally when a new update drops.

If you're a hardcore rhythm game player, I highly recommend for you to get into.
If you're a casual... maybe? Try get the game for yourself; it is super cheap for the base game. If you decided that you like it, consider purchasing Muse Plus during sales.

Early Access Review
Basically Pokemon open-world but with guns. Chill but can be thrilling game either if you're playing it solo or with friends.
If you want to setup your own private server, I would recommend HaruHost (for Windows) or LinuxGSM (for Linux) for ease of setup and deployment (you just need to figure out how to port forward the port). However HaruHost does flagged as malware so do your own research before deploying it. If you're not sure, the community over at the official Discord server are more than happy to assist (altho some of them can be an ass hat at times so bear with it)

With the new Sakurajima update, it feels a lot more stable and use less memory albeit slightly.

Overall, good job Pocketpair and I'm looking forward for the full release.

Super fun co-op game. Supports mods if you don't care about Steam achievement. Battle pass are free and you are free to grind at any time, and you can replay the previous battle pass if you missed out. It will require you to figure out what you need to do on certain side mission, but once you do, you will be rewarded handsomely. Can't say for the single-player mode since I never played the game solo if I can guarantee that you'll have a lot more fun with friends.
