Early Access Review
I really like this game in spite of being absolutely terrible at it.
I was sent a key which I greatly appreciate but due to my inability to wrap myself around the learning curve and find comfort with the physics I had to drop it after reaching level 4 or 5 in the Aqua Cup.

The obstacles while well catered and well designed proved to be insurmountable as I began spending 10-15 minutes per hole trying to beat it. I don't have that kind of time and if the game continues to get harder and harder then I was absolutely doomed before it started.

The art design and music are both lovely. Theoretically fans and non-fans of golf should enjoy this. I'd love if I could simply skip levels I couldn't beat in a timely matter just so I can see all of the level designs. Casual of a take as that may be.

Again I still recommend this game to anyone with an interest in golf and physics based puzzle solving.

Gone Golfing gave me the irrational fear that Putt-Putt courses are hell mouth gateways to a realm of eldritch horror.

Its a silly concept but actually works pretty well and as ridiculous as the pursuing monster is it manages to be pretty terrifying. Its a cheap game so you really don't lose out on much for giving it a shot.

As the kids say this game "slaps"

Within this title you will find a charming sense of humor, quality pixel art, a banging soundtrack, and levels that will most likely cause broken controllers for more fiery game players.

I keep a pillow nearby to scream into so my neighbors don't call the cops. With that being said the rush of finally defeating a difficult level is Dark Soulsian. The levels are carefully catered in a way where I can almost hear the developer cackling like a mad man as he puts each perilous jump and dash together.

Its a well built game through and through and more than likely will end up being a speed runner's paradise.

I whole heartedly recommend this for anyone who enjoys challenging 2D platformers!

In spite of being rather bad at puzzle solving games I did make it a fair bit into the game. And for anyone interested in just experiencing the melancholy story about growing up and growing apart there is an option to skip each puzzle.

In a world so flooded with media its hard to carve out any sort of unique niche but I think In My Shadow successfully does just that. The mechanics throw a lot of curveballs and each victory has a sort of Dark Soulsian rush of victory to it.

Do not miss this one.

I played this nearly nonstop milleniums ago when it forced came out. I've been playing it again with a few friends for the first time since highschool days and it has been an absolute blast.

It has aged quite well, invoked powerful nostalgia and provided hours of fun for me and the lads.

First and foremost Space Gladiators is extremely fun.
The sound design is comical and unique, the music is groovy, and the action is consistently enjoyable if but a little stressful. As is tradition with Rogue Lite games expect to die a lot. Defeating bosses is very rewarding. Comparable to the Dark Souls rush.

There are a vast array of passive buffs and weapons to acquire with a pretty lengthy stat screen which most should enjoy. I believe there are 9 unlockable characters each with their own strengths and quirks. All in all I'd highly recommend this to anyone who is a fan of the rogue lite genre.

Explore.
Mine.
Fight.
Upgrade

The four tenants of crafting style vidya games. My time with the game has been limited thus far but I can tell you that anybody interested in titles like Terarria, Starbound, No Mansky, Minecraft etc is sure to enjoy Terrene. Its simple yet endearing and rewarding.

The atmosphere is well crafted and there are upgrades I genuinely cannot wait to implement. Such as taking my robot dog planet side.
