I bought this expecting to refund it and repurchase when the game went on sale. Boy was I mistaken. That first two hours flew by so fast I didn't even know what was happening.

- Story is pretty simple but it works
- Fishing mechanics are pretty basic. At first I was disappointed but I think the game wouldn't work as well if fishing took too long.
- I think the world is very nicely-crafted and it's a joy to explore and see the different biomes
- Ship progression has been well-paced and feels rewarding
- The game loops are fun and addictive
- There's a good variety of equipment and abilities
- Graphics, sound, and music are all great

Great fishing themed game. Fun and relaxing game. Highly recommend!

I really like Terra Nil. It's not hard or ground breaking but it's definitely a chill, fun, and relaxing time. Unfortunately I would say $25 is just way too much for what you get. The game only has 4 campaign maps each with 2 variations. You will complete this game VERY quickly.

Good game just not for the price tag. Grab it on sale for 70% off.

Not what I was expecting. Too easy, too short, little replay value.

This is the type of game gamers deserve. A high quality FINISHED game with good production value, interesting stories to and few bugs at release.

Octopath Traveler 2 is mostly more of the same from the first two games and I'm eating it up. I call it a JRPG equivalent to an anthology TV series. Everything is in the same world but at the end of the day you're following many smaller stories with their own beginnings, middles, and ends instead of 1 overarching story line. It's certainly different and I wouldn't want every game to follow this formula. It is, however, a nice change of pace.

While this game is mostly the same as it's predecessors there are some nice new features to speak of:
- Day & Night Cycle which can be instantly changed at nearly any moment
- Crossed path stories involving 2 of your characters crossing paths in a single storyline
- Latent Powers
- Owning a boat
- Obtaining secondary job licenses from guilds

So far I've completed the opening story for each character and I enjoyed each one to varying degrees. Each character feels unique in their personality, motivations, and goals. Some have high-stakes adventures to save the world while others are just in pursuit of lifelong dreams. Either way, they all seem to have an interesting enough story to tell so far. They generally feel like well-built characters that have layers of complexity which is truly nice to see. Even some of the side characters that help you along in each opening chapter is memorable. It's hard to not love Gus. "On my honor as a tavern keep!"

- Graphics: Great
- Sound effects: Great
- Music: Great. I really like the title song.
- Voice Acting: Feels a little spotty at times. It's overall good enough.
- Story: Coming together nicely so far. Some stories are certainly more interesting than others

Love the game but I couldn't justify paying $65 for it. If Metroid Prime and Sons of the Forest didn't come out then I'd likely not have refunded Returnal. I will definitely buy it on sale, even 20% off.

Great game! The Harry Potter game we've wanted and deserved for the last 20+ years. There are definitely some performance issues on the PC but they are easily overlooked in my opinion and I'm sure they will fix them in time.

not great for $10. It's boring and repetitive and lacks variety. But if there was more variety then you would actually be weaker because you wouldn't get the symbols you need. I dono. It's just missing a lot for $10. If it was $5 or $3 I would be much more forgiving.

Also, Only 0.1% of people have the first achievement I unlocked. Beating level 1.

One of my favorite WC3 and SC2 mods finally made into a standalone game. It's a great version of Legion TD and Squad TD.

Fun but wait for a sale.

IXION feels similar to a Frostpunk in space with better story telling and production value. After playing the game for a while I can safely say that if you like Frostpunk and sci-fi then you're most likely going to like IXION.

Despite the slightly better production value I would say IXION is far less polished than Frostpunk. Things always feel rough around the edges or like they're falling short of reaching their full potential. This goes for graphics, sound, game systems, balance, cinematics, etc.

PROS:
- Great storytelling and production value thus far. The game looks great and I appreciate all the voice acting
- The prologue was engaging. It was a great introduction to the story, characters, and game mechanics.
- It's not easy. You can definitely get yourself into a bad situation and have to start the chapter over.
- I keep getting put into situations where I have to decide between 2 or 3 things that I really need because my resources are low.

CONS:
- Encountered many bugs. (Update: I'm sure many have been fixed by now)
- Systems aren't quite as complex or in-depth as I would like them. Nearly all systems feel like they fall just short of reaching their potential.
- Event rewards are static which I'm going to assume will reduce replay value
- Pacing of story, science, resources, and some specific in-game events/things feels a bit off. Things just don't feel like they match up sometimes.
- I very strongly dislike being rushed out of chapters

Early Access Review
Fun little RTS roguelike. It def has some problems but it's early access, the developer seems very responsive, and I think it's well worth the price.
