It's hard not to respect this dev team given the constant stream of free weekly updates. The game feels better than ever and I can finally give it a positive review. If you like the genre then definitely give it a try.

- Overall Icarus feels much better, more balanced, and has a ton of content after these updates.
- Each DLC adds more value given the updates over time.
- New Frontiers expansion finally makes Icarus feel like you're on an alien world instead of a slightly different earth


OLD REVIEW:
This game has come a very long way since launch, but unfortunately the game still needs work. They're releasing expansions while the base game still feels like it has holes. Not to mention that the expansion basically feels like they are finally delivering on promises from the first game yet it costs another $25.

The game is definitely playable now (unlike launch). If it sounds interesting to you then wait for a good sale and check it out.

Maybe the 3rd time I try Icarus I'll be able to give it a thumbs up.

One of my favorite games ever. Been playing since it was a flash game back in like 2010.

It's an artillery game. Angle and velocity, pick weapon, fire.

Big fan. Great zombie survival rogue-like. Lots of unlockables, great locations, good enough variety of zombie types (though I wish there were more), decent selection of guns (again, wish there were more). Highly recommend if you like rogues or zombies.

Great game for free. Really hope it's expanded or DLC is added or a paid sequel is made.

This is a review in progress. I never played the first Jurassic World Evolution but for some reason I was inspired to buy this one. The thought of reliving my Dinopark Tycoon days in the Jurassic universe sounded great. So far I'm enjoying myself a lot so I can recommend it thus far. We'll see how I feel after 5-10 more hours though.

Pros
- Dinosaurs (cancels out at least 5 cons)
- Recreating parks from the movies was a nice treat
- In-game help and tutorials is quite good for newcomers
- Graphics are generally really good

Cons
- Campaign is short, disjointed, unfulfilling, and just plain bad. I wouldn't be surprised if a large percentage of bad reviews is because of the campaign.
- Voice acting for characters from the movie all sound weird. Can't tell if it's bad acting, bad digitization, or they used sound-alikes.
- Something feels....off. Can't quite put my finger on it yet.
- Screen flickering and draw distance issues are a nuisance
- Game crashes sometimes and there is no option to increase autosave frequency

Game sucks.

It's an amazing feeling to wake up and learn that one of your favorite childhood SNES games was remade and you didn't even know it was happening.

I'm still in Fillmore but so far I'm loving this. It's a brand new game, a true remake. Everything was rebuilt, expanded, and changed. The graphics, sound, and music have been remade to be more modern and it all came out great!

So far the core of the game seems to be in tact but they've changed a lot around the core mechanics of the game.

Some examples:
- The first level is the same theme, look, and feel but the layout is completely different so it's basically a new level. The boss is the same boss but with a different arena and similar mechanics.
- Playing as the angel is similar at it's core but a lot a changed or been added. The flow of this part of the game is quite different as they've added defensive building you can build, a tower defense mini game, a hero, and many more quests.

After playing the opening act and getting to the title cutscene I am just super hyped for the rest of the game. The Tales series was getting stale but this is a really strong start and could be one of the best installments in years.

- Graphics and presentation are top notch so far
- Sound and music is great even if the ambient sounds are a bit strange or bugged at times
- Characters seem well-thought so far and seem to be hinting at quite deep and complex characters
- First boss was great overall. The elemental was a really nice addition.
- World seems interesting so far but could end up being a cliche or falling flat
- This game is tugging on some nostalgia strings for sure
- The moment a strange wild owl gave me cat ears for my pink haired waifu I knew this was going to be a fantastic game

Update: The more I play the more I am loving this game. Definitely one of the strongest entries since Symphonia. Each realm I get to just beats my expectations for what could come next. Highly recommend trying it out.

I was enjoying the game (but unsure of my rating) until I got to my father's house for a visit and realized there was no cloud save.Unfortunately I've come to expect my saves to be stored in the cloud these days.

They addressed basically all of my concerns from my first review but I still struggle to recommend Dice Legacy.

I enjoy the game but every time I play it I hate the forging and ascension process. It makes me hate the game. It's just too random. There needs to be more/better ways to weigh the results in your favor somehow.

Also, no steam cloud support automatically means bad review for me.
