I wanted to like this game so badly but it feels quite convoluted and had a bad tutorial.

Two Point Hospital was fun. Two Point University felt too much of the same. This, however, feels like a modern classic in the tycoon genre.

It's not perfect, but if you're a fan of the genre then I can't recommend Two Point Museum enough.

A pleasant surprise and one of my favorite games of 2024!

- I loved the setting being in a paranormal exclusion zone. in some ways it reminded me of the Annihilation book series.
- Driving, progression, and other game mechanics felt fun and rewarding
- The story-driven aspects were enjoyable and helped divide the game into acts. The game never forces you to progress the story so you can play at your own pace
- I loved the music and the graphics were good as well
- I look forward to additional playthroughs in the future

Fun little tower defense game. Heroes are nice. Feels a bit expensive for the amount of content.

I truly love this game. Great minimalist tower defense/base defense made by a great indie dev. I got way more out of this game than I was expecting and I hope there's more to come.

If you peruse lists of the greatest RTS campaigns of all time, Homeworld consistently appears alongside the likes of StarCraft 2 and WarCraft 3. Likewise, in any compilation of the most influential RTS games, Homeworld holds a prestigious spot next to WarCraft, StarCraft, Command & Conquer, Age of Empires, and Total Annihilation.

Blackbird and Gearbox had the chance to continue this storied legacy. Unfortunately, they delivered the hollow shell of a Homeworld game. While it boasts high-quality sound and visuals, it is severely lacking in content and depth. The game was rushed to market, marred by numerous bugs and missing features, a transgression that gamers should no longer tolerate. Complete the game before asking for $70, not the inverse.

The Good:
- The sound and visuals are absolutely stunning, which is crucial for a space game.
- Gameplay is generally enjoyable and satisfying.
- Despite some bugs and other issues, the new Wargames mode is quite enjoyable.
- Nearly all campaign missions were memorable, even if the story itself wasn't.
- Overall, performance is solid, though there are a few exceptions due to bugs.

The Bad:
- The campaign is too short, far too easy, and has zero replayability, with a lackluster story.
- The game has been simplified in many ways.
- Numerous bugs.
- Controls are inconsistent but should improve over time.
- Unit movement and shooting mechanics need refinement.
- There aren’t enough units, nor do the existing ones have sufficient depth.
- Skirmish mode feels like an afterthought.
- In typical modern fashion, the game was released prematurely.
- Wargames mode is good but not great; it needs more maps, challenges, artifacts, and races/classes. Future paid DLC, bug fixes, and quality of life improvements are hoped to enhance this mode.

Miscellaneous Thoughts:
- Many of the issues outlined above have a cascading effect, where each problem undermines the overall strategic depth of the game. It doesn’t feel very strategic due to bugs, control issues, and lack of unit diversity.
- For this price, they should have delivered a modern Homeworld game with a stellar campaign, rivaling the quality of Homeworld and StarCraft 2. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come close.
- While I’m pleased to experience Homeworld with modern production values, I remain hopeful that many of the issues will be addressed through updates and DLC. I just hope the final price is worth the admission when all is said and done.
- Relying on paid DLC to add enough content to justify the base game’s price is never a good look.

Verdict:
- Fans of the Homeworld series should play this game, but I recommend waiting for some updates and a sale.
- If you're new to Homeworld then do yourself a favor and go grab the Homeworld Remastered Collection

Just doesn't feel ready. Lack of a full tutorial and bad UI/UX.
