The new update brought many interesting features, such as the new parkour rework that is an obvious upgrade from the floaty, almost laggy one we had before.

The night revamp has the right idea, making it more atmospheric with the fov reduction, ambient sound and roaming volatiles. Except it was poorly executed. The rank system that is a core aspect of the game was thrown out the window, with players with endgame gear having trouble versus a single low rank volatile.
The range build does no damage to volatiles now, which is a major bad sign, since the game has only 4 "classes" and they just deleted one.

I cleared both this game and DL1 with all its expansions and played quite a while after it. With all its problems, DL2 was a very good game. Now it's a joke. People got to farm legend levels in the old version and max up their stats with enough time grinding. Now it's 100x harder and the same people who got it easy are the ones defending the update. Stay away from this game if Techland doesn't address the current build
