Great game, and very pleased the progress from origin carries over.

Fantastic game. Only played a few hours, and already I am hooked, immersed, in love. If this doesn't win awards, including game of the year in some awards, I will be super shocked.

I'm not a fan generally of reaction based games (mainly because I have the reaction times of a crippled tortoise) nor do I enjoy games where 1 hit kills you. However, Katana Zero is a pure work of art and a game that I adore.

The look and atmosphere of the game is amazing, and is helped by the soundtrack, which is fantastic. The storyline is incredible too.

After having the game on my wishlist since it released, I finally bought during the Summer sale, and don't regret it one bit.

II cannot reccomend this game enough. I was on the fence about buying it for a while, but finally the Steam sale gave me the push I needed.

Do you like Mario World? Do you like cute stuff? Do you like puzzling platformers?

If the answer to any of the above is yes, you should totally get this! You play as a cute as hell girl (who apparently is too shy to ever speak) who can craft and wear different hats to give her abilitiies. In addition to said hats, you can get outfit colours and hat styles! It's like TF2 and Mario had a baby!

The core gameplay is solid, with both simple and difficult parts and the story is pretty damn fun too. Early in the game you get a camera with depth of field and iinstagram esque filters too - see my screenshots :D

Life is strange, it really is. I picked episode one of this up when it was free, for the simple reason that I like free things. I never really played it until one week ago, and a friend of mine said I should try it at least.

I played through episode 1 in one sitting and was instantly hooked - I quickly grabbed the rest of the episodes and here we are, one week later, and I've completed the game.

As a huge fan of story driven and cutscene based games, I felt more invested in playing this than I have in any other game for a long, long time. There are choices, oh so many choices, deep storylines and whilst I thought my friends were lying about how emotional the game could be, I'm glad to be proven wrong.

Even as a grown man, there were moments that had me with tears in my eyes, and several genuine shocked moments too.

Do yourself a favour, and play this at least once. You won't regret it.

This game is a true masterpiece. Made by the same people that made Limbo, I cannot reccomend this game enough. The only thing that I think is wrong with it is the original price point (due to the length of the game) - if you can get it in a sale or a bundle, then it should be a snap purchase!

Beautiful use of colour, sound and design, it leaves you thinking at the end of the game, and is a joy to play.

Hands down the spiritual succesor to Skate 3 that you've all been waiting for. Insane graphics and physics engine, and just as much fun to get a great line as Skate 3 was.

Just kidding, however, all the above is true, fantastic game and easy to waste an hour or two on at a time.

Just. Wow.

I received this game in September's Humble Monthly and thought I would give it a go as I haven't played a creepy game in a while. I'm so glad I did.

Whilst not a hugely long game (I completed it in a few hours with only a couple of achievements missing), the story itself is engrossing enough to keep you playing till the end, and split into 4 acts so you can easily come back to it after each act if you wish.

I sat and completed act 1, then came back and did the other 3 acts back to back. I won't spoil the storyline as I feel you should play it yourself. I played it in the dark, on my own and was utterly terrified at some points, creeped out at others, and by the end I was so emotionally invested that I couldn't believe it was over.

10/10.

***EDIT*** Since writing this review, the issue I said I had has now gone - a simple restart of my phone seemed to clear it!

Bought in the most recent sale, and hot damn I'm glad I did. I was always a fan of the 'Dancing Stage' arcade games when (much) younger, and whilst I still play them sometimes when we visit arcades, the fact that I'm a middle aged man dancing away on an arcade game in public makes me feel very self concious!

This allows me to have the same amount of fun without having to worry about how I look to anyone else (except my son :P). Super simple to setup, just need a smartphone and the game, both connected to the same network and off you go!

The one issue I have currently is with the JD unlimited songs (like Guitar Hero live) where you can only play one song before it gets stuck in an infinite load, but I'm sure there will be a fix shortly. Other than that, I cannot reccomend this game enough - as others have said, not only is it CRAZY fun, but it is also an insanely good workout!

7117 hours. And no regrets. This game has taught me real life skills, such as Russian, Peruvian and Spanish. Additionally, it has taught me problem solving skills and great varieties of swearing to get your point across.

If you want to get frustrated, have fun, get more frustrated, have less fun, get even more frustrated, squeeze a little more fun out of the game, then repeat this over and over again, start playing Dota 2 today!
