It's high stakes, high rewards Elden Ring where there's no bs grinding for levels, they come pretty easy. gear is fun and plentiful, interesting combos. it's hard. it's hard co-op.

You can absolutely play with 1 friend, you just have to have a random with you, which isn't that big a deal. Nerds are the biggest bunch of cry babies on the rock, so take the negative reviews with a grain of salty tears.

3/5 stars perfect game.

the game is clunky, out of date, and there are so many graphical issues that I stopped trying to fix them. I have a 7800x3d and 7900xtx, 64gb ram, blah blah blah. This game has the goofiest anomalies, like the targeting reticle (which is ALWAYS THERE along with descriptions every time you look at an interactable object). The reticle leaves tracers and anomalies on the screen as well despite many graphics adjustments both ingame and with the AMD software.

The changes they made from the original are all awful. From the minimap to darn near everything else. And a reskinned game for that price? gtfo bethesda! I thought it was going to run better and have positive improvements, but it just seems like a cash grab due to their lack of success since skyrim. bethesda, stop making literally the same games over and over and build games with love and passion in mind again instead of the bottom line and shareholders. You'll find you would make a LOT more money.

FIRST: They don't collect your data and there are no viruses. They patched the prior and the former was a false positive.

I don't care for side scrollers. I almost exclusively play Fromsoft titles and strategy games like EU4 and COH3. I like my games to move forward and advance in tech, not revert back to how it was when i was a kid dreaming of how games would NOT be restricted to side scrolling. However.....

It's a darn good game. Visually pleasing, fun, challenging. 8.5/10. Leveling is something to look forward to. The skills unlocked are satisfying. I suspect the combat might get a little repetitive eventually, and the character customization is really plain. I'd like a lot more with the character creator. The story, which I normally couldn't care less about, is even pretty darn good. The voice actors, who are usually awful in vidjea gayms, are pretty awful as usual, but video game voice actors are like the bottom of the barrel. However, the dialogue doesn't take itself too seriously, there's lots of hilarious lines and intentionally awful jokes.

I got it for $26 in the triple COH1,2,3 pack, but I already had 1 & 2. I'd say it's worth $25-30 for single player and co-op vs ai alone. Multiplayer is can get pretty competitive. The expansion packs are not worth the price. They're just extra commanders for co-op and multiplayer.

6/10 just barely a thumbs up.

Bad:
The very beginning is a drag. The lamp mechanic to look into the other world and do all that stuff is cool 1/2 the time, and an utter pain in the bottom the rest. Having to do world interactions with your lil lamp and fight bosses at the same time is a bummer every time. There's not a lot of enemies between bosses it feels like. Almost like you're all dressed up with no place to go.

Good:
The combat is actually pretty intuitive and alright, complicated if ya want, easy enough to mash through. There's lots of weapons and armor pretty quick so save your pennies.

I got invaded twice and it was pretty stupid. Crazy power dudes with end game stuff wreckin ya, just like ER. I got it on sale for $30 and I feel like I paid too much, but it's kinda ok.

3/10. The multiplayer doesn't work 85% of the time. There are a multitude of disconnect errors you'll get, only allowing you to play in single player (check reddit for the enormous thread on this). You're buying half a game. The season pass is also a complete scam. It just lets you unlock some skins, and it doesn't include one of the dlc's.

The game would be great otherwise. It's mindless destructive tomfoolery that can also have a somewhat high skill level, plenty of outfits to unlock for your dollies, and the folks in coop are generally alright.

It's cool at first I guess, but it's very repetitive. You fight 4 super easy regular guys, then a mini boss, then 4 easy guys, mini boss, etc etc. Extremely linear. Bosses are really boring and forgettable. The combat is really boring: smash light attack until the animation ends then heavy attack. It's pretty, but that's about it. The voice acting and whatever the story is is really forgettable. I left it running while at work and had my refund denied. Now it's just gonna rot in my library.

It's very fun. PvP can be a little hopeless since max levels get matched with everyone. That's my only complaint.

An AMAZING DLC, especially considering it's $40. Most companies would give you maybe 10-20 hours of extra gameplay, SotE gives you a map that's 2/3 the size of the base game and darn near every inch has something going on. The new weapons are incredible, their movesets are straight OP. All the other new items are vast and really, really interesting and well thought out. The environments and ambiance are 100% chef's kiss!

Anyone complaining that the game is too hard or the bosses are too hard HASN'T BEEN PAYING ATTENTION TO EVERY OTHER FROMSOFT TITLE: GIT GUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Make it harder even, punish us!

Other major game developers should use Fromsoft as their model. Just good a good game, what the fans want more or less, no paywalls or dumb launchers, no subscriptions or skeazy schemes to get your $ and data.... just a really, really, really, really good game and DLC.

It constantly crashes, especially after reboot and sleep. There're fixes, but you'll have to dig for 'em. Once you got that solved - chef's kiss!
